As all of the Ravenclaws entered their dormitory, two of the older students stepped forward.

Ellie: "Hello everyone, and welcome new students. I am Ellie, and this is my brother."

Tim: "Hello. My sister and I are eighth-year students, as some of you know. We assist the teachers with helping all of the students. If you need anything, just ask us. And first years, please don't do anything that will get Ravenclaw in trouble. That's all for now. Get ready for bed, and remember, everyone should be in bed by 8:30 PM."

As Amber went to get ready for bed, she headed to the girls' side of the dormitory.

Amber: "Mmmm, Ellie, where is my bed?"

Ellie: "Oh, they put our names on the beds. You're Amber, right?"

Amber: "Yes, I am. How did you know my name?"

Ellie: "Well, I saw you get sorted into Ravenclaw, and Ava talks a lot about you."

Amber: "You're friends with my sister?"

Ellie: "Yeah, and she also told me to keep an eye on you."

Amber: "That's my sister for you."

Ellie: "Are you nervous, Amber?"

Amber: "Yeah, but I will be okay. Can I write a letter to my family to tell them how I'm doing?"

Ellie: "Yes, you can. I'll get you some paper."

Amber: "Thank you."

Ellie: "It is no problem, Amber."

As Amber wrote the letter, most of the girls were already in bed. She finished it and then went to bed.

The Next Day

Amber got up at 6:00 AM. She went into the common room and got some books. A little while later, Ellie got up.

Ellie: "Amber, what are you doing up at this time?"

Amber: "Well, I couldn't sleep, so I came to read."

Ellie: "Okay, well, do you want to get some things done before everyone gets up?"

Amber: "What do you have in mind?"

Ellie: "Well, I was thinking we could go get some things and then go to the study hall to do some homework."

Amber: "All right, but can we also get some books from the library?"

Ellie: "Why not, Amber? Come on."

Amber: "I am coming. I just need to put this book back."

Ellie: "Okay, but be quick."

Amber: "Got it."

As Ellie and Amber got some things done, they went to the study hall. Amber saw Ava, so she ran to her and gave her a huge hug.

Ava: "Amber!"

Ava smiled at her little sister.

Amber: "Ava, I am glad to see you."

Ava: "I am glad to see you too, Amber. Ellie, thank you for helping her."

Ellie: "It is no problem, Ava."

Amber: "How is John doing?"

Ava: "He is the same as always. I mean, he is our brother."

Amber: "You're right, Ava. How is your boyfriend doing?"

Ava: "Amber!"

Amber smiled, but she felt like someone was looking at her. She looked around and saw Jason. He looked away from them. Amber was happy to talk with her big sister, but something just did not feel right. Ava and Amber spent more time together.
