Lucy is now 23 and it's her first day as a rookie.
Lucy is really closed off and doesn't show much emotion
When she gets to the station she walks to the locker room to get changed.
After she walks to roll call and sits where the other 2 rookies are.
"oh hey ur Chen right?" one of them says
"yea Lucy Chen why?" she says back
"oh umm the watch commander asked for you to go to his office." the same guy says
"oh ok thanks what's ur name btw?" lucy asks
"im jackson west and thats john nolan." jackson says
"ok thx." lucy says as she makes her way to the watch commander's office and knocks.
He tells her to come on and sit down. then she asks what he needed and he said "well i was looking through your personal file and was wondering why how you did all of this as a 17 year old?" he asks
Lucy looks at him and says "What do you mean sir?"
"Well you were a Navy Seal at 17 and you can't even enlist until your 18 so i'm curious." Grey say leaning back in his chair
"Oh yeah i kind of lied about my age and they found out but still gave me a shot and they liked me so i stayed there for six years becoming a sargent in the process." Lucy says
"But how did you go through the training i know it's not easy especially for a 17 year old." Grey says now concerned
"I don't know it just didn't really bother me it was hard at first but you get used to it." She says.
"Ok i just wanted to check in sorry i do it with all veterans that join." Grey says
"it's fine thank you sir." Lucy then leaves and goes to roll call.
"Hey what did he want?" Jackson asks
"Oh he just had a question." Lucy says bluntly
"Ok well where you from?" he asks
"I'm from Colorado." She says
"Oh that's far what brings you to LA?"
"Just here for a change in pace." Lucy says with a sigh
Just then Grey walks in.
"Alright let's get started with the rookies. Please stand and state you name and badge number." Grey says
They all stand
"Officer John Nolan badge number 25253"
"Officer Jackson West badge number 33356"
"Officer Lucy Chen badge number 28537"
"Ok now for the TO match up Officer Nolan you get Detctive Nyla Harper (pretend she is there from the start), Officer West you get Officer Angela Lopez, and last but not least Officer Chen you get Officer Tim Bradford. Ok have a great shift dismissed."
"Get the war bags boot." Tim says
"Yes sir." Lucy says
She gets them puts them in the shop and gets in.
It is quiet until Tim says "So why'd you become a cop boot?"
"Just want to h-"
"I'VE BEEN SHOT WHERE ARE YOU BOOT?" Tim screams
"27th street sir" Lucy says with a straight face not even looking around.
"good" Tim says surprised
"so answer my question." tim says
"i just want to help people sir" Lucy says
Lunch Time
With the rookies
"So how's y'all's TOs?" John asks
"Mines pretty good she's pretty nice just don't make her mad." Jackson says
"Well mine just yells at me for talking to much" John say
"Mines fine." Lucy says not really wanting to talk.
"Really i heard yours is kind of a hard ass" Jackson says
"Yep he's fine. it's been a really quiet day." Lucy says.
"if you say so" Jackson says.
With the TOs
"So how's y'all's rookies" Angela asks
"Well mine talks too much it is really annoying." Nyla says
"Mines not too bad just really smiley." Angela says.
"Yeah well mine is the complete opposite she doesn't smile, sits really straight, always alert,
and just doesn't talk at all." Tim says
"Damn Bradford she sounds like you." Nyla says.
"yeah tim she kind of does." Angela says.
"well i'm gonna go" Tim says
"K good luck" Angela says with a smirk
"Boot let's go!" Tim says
" Well got to go guys." Lucy says as she goes to the shop.
