Conner was really annoyed, Kaldur'ahm was far away, and that puts him on a really bad mood. He knew his boyfriend needed to solve some issues in Atlantis, but he never thought it would take so long!.

He really misses Kaldur, he was so used to his company that he actually feels weird of not having him around.

He walks into the kitchen looking for something that can distract him, Megan's there, apparently baking something.

He just stands and stares at her for a little moment, when she notice she blush "Oh, hey, hey Conner." she says nervous. "I'm... I am, well, I'm baking brownies. Would you like some?." she asked kindly.

"Sure." eating something sweet wouldn't be that bad, maybe the sugar takes away the bitter flavor that haves on the tongue since his boyfriend left.

He sits on a chair, waiting the brownies to come out, "So, how's your day going?." Megan tried to start a conversation.

"It's been regular I guess, not bad but not good." he said whit a little indifferent tone.

"You know? I've heard that today will be a full moon." she said, taking the tray from the oven, catching all the attention of Conner instantly, "It would be really romantic, going to the beach and see how it rises, don't you think?." leaving the tray on the island of the kitchen, grinning at Conner.

Yeah... Really romantic, was she inviting him to some kind of date? He didn't need time to think about it; No, was the only answer, this was really uncomfortable, doesn't this girl notice that he just isn't straight?

He couldn't help a smirk on his face, and took a brownie while he was hearing the following words "So? what do you say?.".

"Sorry, Megan. I just can't see us and romantic on the same sentence." He wasn't trying to be reckless with her, not anymore, not because he cares about her but because he wouldn't like to apologize later.

"Oh that's okay, I guess." those were the last words he heard after she came out running. He took another brownie from the tray.

Then, Wally and Robin came in to the kitchen, a little bit consternated "Hey bro, what did you say to her?." Wally asked with a weird undertone.

"Nothing.". "What do you mean whit nothing? She was literally crying." Wally talked again, this time more angry. "I didn't say anything".

"Well, you definitely said something." Robin mentioned much more calm.

"She asked me to go out, I said no." Conner spoke deciding to be honest to his teammates "Am I wrong for that?." he asked ironically.

"No, you're not." Robin respond quickly. "But-" Wally tried to say, "No, he's not." Robin spoke cutting Kid flash off "He's on all his rights of rejecting her.".

"I think she should stop flirting with me." Superboy said, finishing the brownie. "I mean, how much am I expected to tolerate? Can one of you help me with that?."

"In what way do you want us to help you?." Robin asked confused.

"I don't know, talk with her about it, or something.".

"Okay, bigboy, first, it's not as simple as it seems, and second, if someone can do that without messing up, it's Kaldur." Robin said clear and slowly. "Why don't you just reject her?." he asked later.

"I have tried, she is... persistent, I don't wanna hurt her though, I just want her to understand... Do you think that if I tell her that I have a couple, she will leave me alone?." Superboy said with caughtion, he didn't want to reveal that much, just... the necessary.
