9.The Rumor

The rumors quickly turned popular throughout the university. Everybody was reacting differentially  to it.

Ishaan heard the rumor from some girls who were grieving over the fact that Arnav isn't single anymore. Ishaan was shocked and hurried over to Arnav.

"Bro you didn't tell me?"said Ishaan.

"What to tell you?"asked Arnav.

"Huh!You are dating and asking me what to tell you?"

"Wow, I am dating and I have no idea about it"Arnav was laughing at the fact.

"So, aren't you dating Mahi?"

"What!! Are you out of your mind. I am not dating her or anyone else. Stop this now".

"But there are rumors about your dating in the whole university".

"Wtf!? Who spread this rumor?"

"Bhai, I don't know but we have to find it out fast otherwise there would a big drama in the college".

"Yeah, You are right Ishaan".

Meanwhile,After hearing those rumors, Aanya was furious.And Mahi was speechless not knowing what to do next.

Aanya's Pov
( I don't know why but heart was not ready to accept that Arnav is dating Mahi or he likes Mahi. I want to know the truth behind this. Because my heart isn't digesting this..)

"Mahi, Let's go"Suddenly Aanya said in a serious tone.

"Where?"

"To clear this rumor" Aanya held Mahi's hand and went to Arnav.

His eyes widen as he show her. She was completely in a bad mood, he guessed it by her face.

"Hey Mr!! Can you explain about the rumors?"

"I don't know anything"Aranv looks down in a guilt as he ruined the reputation of Mahi with him.

"So, what are you waiting for? Like yo---"Aanya got interfered by Ishaan....

"Bro, Rudra has spread these rumors".

"How did you know that?"asked Aanya.

"A boy of this university told me that Rudra and his friends have done this".

"But why they have done this? I have not done anything wrong to them"asked Mahi being sad.

"No it's not your mistake"said Arnav.

"Then, Who's mistake it is??" Aanya raised her eyebrows.

" It's  our mistake because we have beaten that guy who danced with Mahi as he was Rudra's friend and we don't want it to be--".

"Like for what!? Why you both have a problem if any boy dance with Mahi or anyone?"asked Aanya burning in Anger.

"Not from every boy. We just did it because he was Rudra's friends and----"Arnav got interfered by Aanya.

"You have created a whole drama here"Aanya turned back in Anger but she got tripped and was about to fall when Arnav holds her in his arms.

"Careful, Aanya" said Ishaan quickly.

Arnav's Pov
(Wow!! Her eyes are really beautiful. I can see them all my life without blinking. I don't why but I don't want to show this anymore that I hate her).

Aanya got up and looked towards Arnav who was already looking at her.

"What's the solution of this problem?"asked Aanya casually and looked away.

"Rudra, himself will fix this problem"stated Arnav and was about to go...

"We will come with you as My best friend's name is in this drama"Aanya stated before he could say anything.

"Sorry Mahi"said Arnav and looked at her.

"No need Arnav, it's all ok"said Mahi.
After the university time, they four went to Rudra house as he was absent in college today.

In the garden of his house, Rudra and his friends sat drinking wine and enjoying themselves.

"Rudra!?"yelled Arnav.

Rudra turned at the sudden voice and stands after seeing them. He walked towards them and asked"What you all are doing here?"

"Remove that rumor from the college"said Ishaan.

"Ohh!! You've come because of that, but I apologise for not assisting you"said Rudra laughing.

"Apko pyar ki baat smjh nhi aati ya maar khane ki adat hai"said Aanya angrily.

"What!? You should mind your words"said Rudra.

" And, You should mind your business"Anaya slapped hard on his face.
 
Aanya's move shocked everyone, as Rudra was completely unmanly and he could have slapped her back for disrespecting him, but he hadn't done anything to her yet. He looked at her and casually said" Sorry for mentioning your best friend's name in this".

Rudra statement widends the eyes of everyone as he never apologise for what he has done to anyone.

"That's right now. You should know your limits. Mahi haven't done anything to you, So , you shouldn't mention her name in this drama"said Aanya.

"I would clear this rumor here, I promise  to you"said Rudra while staring deeply at Aanya.

"Thank you". Aanya held Mahi's hand and went from there. Arnav and Ishaan enjoyed the whole show.

"Beta! Bach gya aaj tu in ladkiyo ki vjh se"said Arnav.
(You are saved today because of these girls).

"You can't even to do anything in future also"said Rudra being frustrated and call his guards to throw these boys away.

"No need of that, we're going because our work's already done"said Ishaan.
 
Leaving Rudra's home in a stony silence, Ishaan and Arnav walked from there.
