Justin Anderso's POV

The alarm screeched as I slowly blinked opened my eyes. It was no surprise that I was going to be late as I look at the time.

7:00, one hour before school starts.

"Breakfast's ready" came the voice of my stepmum. "Get down here before pancakes get cold" she yells again, this time in a singsong voice.

'Does she still think I'm a baby.'I thought, rolling my eyes as walked groggily to the bathroom as my thoughts wandered to my best friend, Percy Jackson.

Now you must be thinking 'Isn't he that hot guy that keeps rejecting those popular girls?' Well he is and he could have easily gotten into the popular group, but he for unknown reasons he's still with us. I still don't get why and that's a huge accomplishment because I understand almost everything.

I stare at the stupid mirror on the bathroom as I brushed my teeth and threw on a blue T with a denim. My blonde hair was still wet as I roughly tried drying it with my sis' fancy-ass hairdryer. I mean I didn't look that bad. Sharp eyes, blonde hair and a pretty lean figure. My friends call me 'cute'. The girls call me adorable. The only memory of my mum I could clearly remember was her pecking on my dimples.

I rushed downstairs and grabbed a couple of pancakes and chugged down a glass of orange juice. "Emma! I'm coming home late. Don't wait for me at dinner" I yelled to my stepmum and grabbed my bag and slung it on one shoulder, shoved my phone into my pocket and yelled a bye.

"Curfews at 9. Don't even think about excuses if you came any later than that." I faintly heard her yell but I was already gotten onto my bike.

Percy's POV

Lunch!!!!

Ah the best time of the day. I could literally hear angles singing 'pizza day'. I grabbed a tray and about like sayyyy 5/6 pieces of an olive, chicken and cheese pizza and sat down in my usual table. I gave Justin a fist bump and sat next to Peter, who already started eating.

I was about to take my first when Lucy came to our table, mascara running down her face. To be honest she looked pathetic (not that I said it to her face... or Peter's, he'd kill me)

There goes my lunch.
