After a few days from the press conference Pepper and Arissa right now are on the couch watching TV looking at nonsense about what Tony should do with his business there's a lot of ideas but it's useless just like the people. No she's kidding don't worry she's not that bad.
Suddenly Tony called for Pepper from the tablet "Pepper, how big are your hands?" he asked oh its starting Arissa thought to herself "what" Pepper said for confirmation maybe who knows "how big are your hands?" he repeat then Pepper reply "I don't understand why–" but she was cut off by Tony saying "get down here, I need you" with that she put down the tablet and standing up but stop when Arissa say "can I come with you?" Pepper look at her the shrugged "yeah, sure I'm sure Tony just need some help" with that both of them walk towards Tony's workshop.
When they're inside they say Tony laying down on one of the chair in the room without shirt on. Well, it's not like Arissa care she knows this will happen "hey" Tony said "let's see them, show me your hands" then Pepper did show him her hands that he continue "oh wow, they are smalls, very petite indeed" Pepper walk closer towards Tony and Arissa follow behind her then Tony continue "I just need your help for a sec" he said obviously for the replacement of the arc reactor.
"oh my god, is that thing that's keeping you alive?" Pepper asked Arissa just examine they both but her eyes were focusing on the arc reacter after all it's not everyday she see this well maybe starting today. "it was, it is now an antique" Tony said then continue "this will be keeping me alive for the foreseeable future, I'm swapping it out for an upgraded unit, and I just ran I to a little speed bump" Tony stated.
"speed bump? What do you mean?" Pepper asked "its nothing, it's just a little snag, there's an exposed wire under this device and it's contacting the socket wall and causing a little bit of a short" he pull out his old arc reactor and passed it to Pepper asked her to put it away and asked her for help to put the new one in him.
At first Pepper was debating with herself yet again she done it even though she did make Tony feels like the real soul just came out of his body but he's fine now like he should be. Then Tony got off from that chair and Pepper asked him "so what are you going to do with this?" referring to the old arc reactor then Tony reply "that? Destroy it, inherit it" then Pepper say "don't you want to keep it?" then Tony speak "Pepper I've been called many things 'nostalgic' is not one of them" then Pepper say "will that be all Mr. Stark?" the Tony say "that will be all miss Potts" then Tony turn to talk to the robot hand while Pepper walk out of the workshop.
Then Tony turn around to see Arissa was there and say "hey kid, umm, what you're doing here" he asked trying to act normal after all he's not good with kids "we need to talk Tony" as soon as he heard that he raised an eyebrow at her and say "ok, about what? Why so serious?" Arissa at this point thinking it's a good time to tell him the truth after all he's about to be an iron man so she decided to start like this "I'm sorry for Yinsen death" she said and just that word the word of that name he never mentioned to anyone. He look at her wide eyes as to why and how she knows?
