With a sigh, I swing my legs over the edge of Rafe's bed and make my way to my bathroom.

The warm water of the shower feels like a blessing, washing away the memories of last night's chaos. I take my time, letting the hot water clear my mind. By the time I step out, I feel refreshed and more composed.

Dressing in comfortable clothes, I make my way downstairs, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. Just as I'm about to pour myself a cup, the doorbell rings, causing me to pause.

Who could be here so early on a Saturday morning?

Opening the door, I'm met with the sight of Sarah and Kie, their faces etched with concern. Before I can even say a word, they rush forward, enveloping me in a tight hug.

"Briar, are you okay?" Sarah's voice is filled with worry as she pulls away to look at me.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I assure them, feeling a lump form in my throat at their concerned expressions. "Just a bit shaken up from last night."

"We were so worried about you," Kie chimes in.

Together, we make our way upstairs to my room, where we settle in comfortably. Sarah and Kie waste no time in bombarding me with questions about what happened at the bonfire. I recount the events as best as I can, the memories slowly piecing themselves together as I speak.

Sarah's brow furrows in anger as I recount Andy's actions, her fists clenched in frustration. "That fucking dick," she mutters under her breath, her eyes glaring in disgust. "I can't believe he would do something like that. I wish I was there to tug you away from him."

Kie nods in agreement, her expression mirroring Sarah's frustration. "He deserves to be taught a lesson."

Despite their anger, I can't help but feel a sense of gratitude at their support. These girls have always had my back, and being here for me right now calmed my nerves down.

"I'm just grateful to have you both here," I admit,  "I don't know what I would do without you guys."

Sarah smiles warmly, reaching out to squeeze my hand. "We're always here for you, Briar. That's what friends are for."

As we settle in for a cozy afternoon together, Sarah suggests having a girls' night in to lift my spirits. The idea brings a smile to my face.

"That sounds perfect," I reply, feeling a sense of comfort at the thought of spending the evening surrounded by the people who mean the most to me on this island.

As we sit in my room, face masks applied and laughter filling the air, our phones suddenly buzz with notifications. Sarah picks up hers first, her eyes widening in surprise as she reads the message.

"Guys, it's the boys," she announces, holding up her phone for us to see. "They're calling for a group FaceTime."

Kie and I exchange curious glances before grabbing our phones to join the call. Almost immediately, JJ's face pops up on the screen, his face plastered with excitement.

"Hey, ladies!" he greets us eagerly. "We've got a surprise for you."

Before any of us can respond, John B chimes in, his voice brimming with excitement. "We're outside your house right now. Can you come open the door?"

Sarah's eyes widen in surprise as she turns to look at me, a mischievous grin forming on her lips. "What do you think they're up to?" she asks aloud.

With a shrug, I rise from my seat, my anticipation building as I make my way downstairs with the girls trailing behind me. As I swing open the door, we're greeted with the sight of the three Pogues standing on my doorstep, cartons of eggs and rolls of toilet paper in their hands.
