~The Next Day~
"How long has it been since Stark last visited the guild? It certainly has been a while. Ashame that his first time meeting our new recruit may be his last since both Natsu and her decided to break the rules."As she waited by the port in Hargeon, one young woman was seen standing alone. Her silver armor shining from underneath the sun as her scarlet hair was visible for all to see. Truth be told, she was rather beautiful, but can be rather intense to those who know her.
"If I remember correctly, the magic council made him travel back to the Dark Continent since they said the recent activity over there has been strange."
True to Erza's words, the last time Stark was here, the Magic Council asked for him to return to the Dark Continent for investigation. The reason for that eluded Erza as it was classified information. However, she knew the council asked Stark to do it for two specific reasons. The first being that they didn't want to sacrifice any mages from Fiore since a regular mage going to the Dark Continent wouldn't last long in the harsh environment. The second reason being that no one would know the Dark Continent better than someone who lived their for the majority of their life.
"It's taking him quite a while to meet me here. If he takes too long, i'll just have to make my way to Galuna Island by myself."
"Sorry, Erza. You know how the Magic Council wants anything related to the Dark Continent explained in extreme detail."
Erza's eyes couldn't hide their surprise when they heard the new voice speaking to them. When she turned around, a small smile formed upon her lips as she saw the person walking towards her. He was a young man with hair as dark as the night sky, as his black eyes met the gaze of her visible brown eye.
The young man also possssed had four items on his person that stood out. The first was the pendant on around his neck that was vermillion in color. Next was the sheathed katana that rested on his right hip. The third item was a pouch, that held an important book to him, resting on his left hip. Finally, the last item that drew most of Erza's attention was a black jacket that revealed the emblem of Fairy Tail.
"You sure took your precious time. Did you get lost and wound up at a cake shop again?"
"Haha, very funny, Erza. I'll have you know I only got lost once on my way here. Anyways, it's rare for us to be paired together for a mission. I'll try not to cause too much trouble."
[Stark van Astrea]
~Galuna Island~
"Do they really expect us to destroy the moon?"That was the first question that escaped from Fairy Tail's newest member, Lucy Heartfilia. Apparently the inhabitants of this island were afflicted with a terrible curse. Whenever the purple moon was out, their bodies would transform into that of demons. By the morning, they usually return to their original form. But for those who couldn't, they were killed so that rest of the villagers wouldn't be in danger. The chief of the village even did this to his own son to ensure everyone's safety. They believe that he only way to break the curse, was by destroying the moon.
