The Newest Fairy Tail Wizard: Chapter 3

Fairy Tail Chapter: 3~

'What a day to spend my 20th birthday, huh.' Thinks Cat as her pet snake slithers by her side. 'But what do you expect, it's like every were I go, people underestimate me or get scared of my pet snake. I'm the only one of my kind anyway.'

Casey kept walking until she bumped into a broad chest and fell onto the cement sidewalk on her rear end. As she landed she said a soft 'ouf'. She looked up to see a tall muscular man with long black hair that reached before his mid back, maybe a bit longer. There where some metal on his face and arms from what she can see. He had similar maybe a lighter color of red eyes than she has. She thought she was the only one with red eyes around here. But for some odd reason this man looked oddly familiar. She looked on his shoulder to see the same color or darker color the Fairy Tail guild stamp tattooed there.

She looked back at the taller mans face again to see that he was gnawing on a piece of metal that he took with one of his hands and took it out. He stuck out his free hand to offer to help her up. Cat shook her head as her pet snake helped her up instead.

"Thanks for the offer, but your help doesn't need to be appreciated." Says Casey with zero emotion.

"Ok then, I was only trying to be nice." Says the dark haired man as he went back gnawing at his piece of metal that he didn't get a chance of finishing as he walked off back to the guild hall.

"Jeez," says Cat under her breathe as she watched him walk off then looks down as she huffs out a breathe. "He's like the rest of the guild members, beside Lucy and Mira. He's a complete ass."

Cat then looked at her Snake beside her in empty streets of the weakening silence of the town. Cat soon gets dizzy and she shakes her head. She then walks to find herself wobbling and stumbling. 'Not again?!' She thinks as her snake Venom catches her with her head so Casey can steadily can walk.

"Come on Venom we need to go some where far but near a lot of noise!" Says Cat as she walks a little faster as she still thanked the support form her pet King Cobra.

At the guild hall some of the people went back to their normal duties while the strongest Fairy Tail Team sat at the bar with Mirajane was cleaning some cups once again. Nastu, Gray, and Lucy told Erza about the new girl and her loud, no pun intended, episode with the guild.

"Then she just walked out, after that?" Says Erza quiz-idly while eating her strawberry cake.

"Exactly, it was weird. It seemed for a brief moment when I asked her a question about having friends she remembered something." Says Lucy as she put her hand up from Nastu's flying parade of food that he was eating.

"Aye, sir!" Says Happy as he eats his raw fish.

Gajeel sat at an empty table with a dazed look in his eyes but his face the same blank face he gives off like he always does. He over heard the five talk about that girl named Casey or they nicked named her Cat from what he heard. He looked down at his folded hands on the table with red eyes pricking with unknowable tears with the only words repeating in his dizzied mind, 'she's finally back like she promised!' And with that a small smile creeped on his face. A tear slipped down his cheek as he slowly wiped it away.

"You can't go, Casey!" Says a nine year old Gajeel with tears in his eyes waiting to spill out.

"I have to Gajeel. I hurt people without meaning too!" Cries a nine year old Casey. "I hurt to many people, ever since both of them died two years back, I couldn't control my powers."

"That doesn't mean you have to leave so soon, I still need you Cat!" Know a crying Gajeel yells.

"I'm sorry I made up my mind, I'm going. And tell your dragon teacher I said goodbye as well." Says Casey looking down at her feet. "Also I'm going to visit mom and dads grave one more time before I leave."

Gajeel runs up to Casey and hugs her tightly sobbing uncontrollably at this point. Casey hugged him back while rubbing his back gently. Casey let go of the embrace and put her hands on his shoulders with a toothy smile with tears streaming down her face.

"Gajeel, one day we'll meet again, don't worry. I'll keep that promise no matter how many years passes. You'll always be my favorite dragon slayer......."

Gajeel, unknowns to him was crying from the memory from a few years back he had with Casey before she left for good. He put his head in both his hand refusing anyone seeing him cry like this, even in a public place. All he wished is for her not to leave his side. But unfortunately to him one person in particular caught him crying and that was the one and only Wendy and her Exceed Carla. Wendy went over to Gajeel and sat next to him while she pulled on his shirt. Carla was a little concerned because of the stubbornness that Gajeel normal possess in his personality when he talks about his emotions. Gajeel jumps slitly at the feeling of the tug. He looked at the person whom tugged his short and saw it was Wendy. He let out a soft sigh in relief because he thought it was some else like Nastu coming to to tease him about crying.

"Hey, Wendy." Says Gajeel with his voice cracking slightly as he wiped away the tears from his face.

"Why are you crying? I never really see you cry, so what's wrong you can talk to me!" Says Wendy in a concerned tone for her fellow dragon slayer.

"Wait, Gajeel was crying and I missed it! And where was I?!" Shouts Natsu jumping out of his seat to face them.

"Nastu you moron, leave the poor guy alone. He may have a good reason to cry!" Angrily says Gray to his teammate.
