Fairy Tail Chapter 4~
Wendy looked at the older Dragon Slayer next to her with a soft smile as Gray and Nastu bickered back and forth as it started leading into a fist fight between the both of them. Gajeel looked down at Wendy them sighed out as she looked back at Gajeel.
"I have a feeling you won't give up this conversation are you?" Asks Gajeel.
"Yes, until you tell me what made you cry." Softly says Wendy.
"Ok, it was when I was a few years younger than you, at least the age of nine. The new girl Casey, I knew her. She was my s-" Gajeel stopped for a brief moment remembering what Casey told him before she left. "She was my best friend, but ever since her parents died she hasn't been able to control her power blast radios very well. Or how to use it correctly at perfect times. When she left I was devastated so I concealed all of my feelings and try to do the tough guy act."
"Which you do pretty well at." Giggles Wendy.
"Thanks, but before she left she promised one day we'll meet again, no matter how many years passes. But to be honest when I saw her, I don't think she remembered me. Not one bit." Responds Gajeel with tears slipping down his cheeks. "I missed her, I truly did. I wished she stayed by my side a bit longer before she left."
"Aw, Gajeel. Don't worry give it time. She'll pull through sooner or later." Comforts Wendy as she hugs his side gently.
Wendy was taken a bit aback when she felt Gajeel hug her back. "Thanks I really needed that."
Wendy smiled then sighed out, she needed to get going to her mission soon. She needs to pack some clothing because she doesn't know how long the small mission will take. Gajeel pulls away from the embrace with more tears streaming down his pale face feeling happy that he told some one that but the bigger secret he was forbidden to tell anyone. Wendy got up and said good bye to her friends as her and Carla went quickly to her home to pack. Carla picked up Wendy scolding her not go to Gajeel because of his unpredictable temper and she only thanked the lord that she was lucky today. Wendy only giggled at her exceeds concerns as they flew off.
Cat and Venom sat on the hills but a few blocks away from the busiest part of the town. Casey laid down on her back on the soft grass that tickled her cheeks and arms. Her crimson eyes stared at the sky as she thought about that man she ran into. That man reminded her of one person in particular, that little fragile boy that was close to her heart, some one who understood her the most when they were kids and that was Gajeel Redfox. Her loving always happy go lucky twin, the Gajeel Redfox.
