The Sorcerer Lands on the Tower | Empty_Full_Girl
╚══════════════════════════╝"—On latest news the Rosenkreutz Academy of Sciences is once again earning new awards from their recent 'genius' inventions which has allowed for interactive holographic interfaces."
"...You know, I should've expected something like this."
It was December 22nd, the first day of Christmas Holiday and yet for some odd reason it was freezing cold.
Tenma Kamiten was at a loss for words for the irregular weather within England for it was always odd and never had stopped being odd as it continued to be freezing cold when usually during Christmas it's warm. The worst part about all of this is the fact that his air conditioner exploded because it somehow didn't turn off when he explicitly made sure that it was switched off the previous day, meaning that he was basically clinging onto the numerous blankets around him like a koala. Through his flat's balcony the clear skies deceptively continued to portray the cold sun to the lesser mortals.
He sneezed whilst running through the channels on his television.
He stopped at a channel talking about horoscopes... he clicked his tongue unjustly although understandably as no fortune charm actually worked on him, neither physical or horoscopic. It would've been nice if his parents also joined his curse, however surprisingly they were all lucky as fuck with them consistently winning big rewards from entering lotteries or roulettes— hell, there was a point in time he doubted he was even related to them! Luckily, he was now 16 and so was eligible to rent his own place, however unluckily it seemed that his fridge was now perpetually cursed to never be safe as the electricity had to be manually resupplied via an electricity keymeter and knowing his luck it would probably cut out.
Tenma Kamiten's life was basically a gag-manga with him being the unlucky side character kicked around and harassed into submission to stay in his lane. Although, just because he had terrible luck— that didn't mean he had no drive. In fact, since he was so unlucky he usually put in twice or thrice the effort to get onto the same level as normal people.
His window rattled due to the wind and so he stood up with a heavy sigh, skin chilling due to the cold weather.
"Wind is picking up... Might have to put in more clips on the clothes." He didn't have a dryer so he relied on the wind— his genius scared him sometimes, he joked to himself.
He opened the screen door to the balcony and took a moment to stare at the illusionary skies.
"The skies are just like my future; it looks like a normal blue but it's actually pitch black." He sardonically hummed to himself mockingly.
He grabbed the clothing and went inside his room to place and arrange them—
—!
Suddenly a loud noise echoed behind him along with an increased volume of rattling for a split instance... it seems, within the moment he had turned around, a spare blanket had fallen on the floor.
"Wait— that's a person!"
It was a girl donning a ragged black cloak. He could only make out that she was a human due to her short hair which had odd blue highlights on the inside of her hair and a revealing white shirt that had armpit cutouts and side-waist cutouts along with black shorts and stockings... in other words, despite appearing innocent she also looked quite the alluring appearance as her long-sleeves shirt clearly portrayed her small yet round and present breasts; she looked around his age, if a bit younger.
