It's time to go

Lucy set the mug down. "You want me to go where?" She asked slowly, looking at the little bit of tea that remained.

"Crocus. I think it'll do you some good." The lion spirit answered. The sea goat spirit nodded his head in agreement next to Loke.

"We know you're going through a hard time right know. We can feel your pain through our bond. We think this will help you. We're not asking you to forget everything and everyone but to separate yourself from what's hurting you. Staying here will only keep your wound open. It's okay to give yourself some space to heal and breathe." Capricorn spoke softly.

The blonde looked between the two spirits and sighed. "Thank you for looking out for me. I'm just uncertain. My whole world just crumbled around me, the ground beneath my feet is gone. So just getting up and going somewhere else isn't going to be easy. I don't really think I have the emotional or mental strength to do it." she spoke solemnly.

Lucy looked around at her apartment. It had been a few days since everyone had left. She was still trying to figure out where to go from here, the plan wasn't bad. She knew that with her logical side but her heart was here. In magnolia, with Fairy Tail. She knew getting away was best for her right now but that's just easier said than done. Leaving would make her understand just how real this all is. The guild disbanding, her friends and family leaving. Including her partner, her team mates. She took another sip of her tea. Virgo had made breakfast for her. A simple meal of waffles, bacon and eggs and a nice lavender tea with honey to top it off. Her plate and utensils had been cleared away by the maiden spirit and she knew that once her tea was finished, she'd have to start packing. So she sipped it slowly in an attempt to buy herself some time to process the drastic change.

"Don't worry, Lucy, you're not alone. We're here for you, with you. We'll help you pack and get readjusted. I fully intend on keeping my gate open and going with you." Loke reassured her. "We'll help you pack some essentials and head off this afternoon. I understand it's a lot, Fairy Tail was my family too but you, Lucy, are my key holder and my friend. Let me help you."

Lucy's heart squeezed at Loke's reminder that he too was a part of the guild. She felt selfish. "I'm sorry. I was so focused on myself that I forgot that you were also a member."

A small smile fell on his face. "Think nothing of it, Princess. You don't need to apologize. I'll help Virgo and Capricorn with packing. You focus on getting ready, okay?"

"Alright." Lucy watched him as he and the sea goat walked off. She took a deep breath and released it slowly. She reasoned with herself "This needs to be done. It's going to be okay. One step at a time." she quietly said to herself. She finished her tea and got up to wash and dry the cup. She looked out of the window above her sink. "It's a new day." she whispered with a small smile playing at her lips. She was still hurting on the inside but she couldn't let that stop her from begining her journey to heal.

With the four of them preparing, it only took a few hours for all her furniture and non-essentials to be packed up, labeled and stored in the Celestial spirit world. Lucy and Virgo made quick work of packing her suitcase with all the things she'd need to travel.

"Alright, Princess, everything is packed up and you're all set. Would you like to punish me now?"

"No, Virgo. But thank you so much for everything." Lucy replied, hugging the pink haired maid. Another smile gracing her lips as she felt Virgo's arms wrapping around her to return the hug.

After Capricorn and Virgo closed their gates, the blonde grabbed her luggage and purse and followed Loke out of the apartment. Before closing the door, she turned and gave her home one last look. It had become bare just like the others.
