A/N:

When I posted the introduction for the new plot I forgot to change a few things.

Number Un: Akshara is pursuing music therapy and is not a singer.

Number deux: Akshnav will meet in Kasauli, not Manali.

I have changed these but it's for those who had read the introduction and blurb before I made the corrections.

To me family meant peace. With them around, I feel comfortable, sometimes I get annoyed, and most importantly, I feel loved.

I could fight with them, not like them for a moment. But I know they would always have my back. They would be there for me in my most difficult moments and my best moments in life.

My family is everything to me. And I was meeting them after three months. Three months. Two hours to go, Akshu, and then you'll be home.

I bent down to grab my guitar bag, holding its strap and slung the bag over my shoulder, the weight of my instrument assured me that I hadn't forgotten it. My right hand grabbed the straps of my duffel bag, I lifted them and ran to the boat. "Kaka, please rukiye! (Brother, please stop!)"

I stepped into the boat before it drifted too far from the dock. I balanced myself, and rose petals began showering on me. I looked up and grinned. After twirling around, I settled down, placed my duffel bag, and glanced around to find a seat.

"Beta, you can sit here." An aunt patted the seat next to hers. I nodded and sat down, placing my guitar between my legs and the duffel bag under my seat. As the boat sailed, I watched the birds racing with it, they danced around enjoying the breeze. A little later, the flock flew in a different direction. I waved, giggling.

A few hours later, the boat docked, and my hands wrapped around the strap I hoisted my guitar bag up and my other hand had my duffel bag as I got out of the boat with the passengers. I walked up the flight of stairs and spotted Kairav Bhai.

My feet picked up pace and in no time, I was in the warmth of my protector, my parent.

"How was your trip? Did you have any complications?" Bhaiya asked.

"No." My answer came out muffled because my cheeks were pressed on his torso. I got out of the hug, and he grabbed both my bags. The bags were in the trunk, and we sat in the car with our seat belts on. The engine roared to life, and the car started moving. Throughout the drive, we both caught up on things happening in our lives.

The car pulled into the courtyard when the security guards opened the gate for us. Before Bhai killed the engine, I opened the passenger door and went to the porch. I inserted the key in the keyhole, pushed open the door, and shouted.

"Mimi.

"Bade Papa.

"Badi Mumma.

"Chhote Papa.
