I stepped inside the hotel room. It was a one bedroom suite that had a side table beside the bed, with white curtains draped around the window. And a LG smart TV attached to the wall.
The room was beautiful. I was happy with the hospitality so far. Taking my clothes out of my suitcase, I went to the bathroom to quickly take a shower. Getting out of the bathroom, I wore a pink kurti with matching pants.
Lying on the bed, I switched on my phone. I got bombarded with messages from my family.
Aaru: Where the fuck did you go? Do you have any idea on what happened when you decided to go on a trip
Aaru: Birla's came and proposed me to get married to Abhimanyu for their so called reputation. You loved him, right? Then why did you break off the relationship.
Aaru: CALL ME!!!
What!? I can't believe that. I get up from the bed, my hands shakes as I clicked on her name immediately, answering the phone call.
"Aaru, did you say yes?" I asked. Ugh. What did I do! I can't even believe they could do that.
"No, I told them I'm not gonna do it. It is unfair for me and unfair for him," she replied. Relief washed over me. Kahna Ji, thank you.
"Look, I'm not sure why you made this decision and I am with you. So please tell me your reasoning," she added. I get up from the bed and put the phone on speaker.
"I don't feel attracted towards Abhimanyu anymore. The warm feeling I had when I was with him is gone. And I'm felt attracted towards other people. This is unfair for Abhimanyu. Plus I don't want to be stuck in a loveless marriage. I can't promise something I'm not sure of, Aaru," I said.
"You did what was right. I'm proud of you."
"But I could've made it work. I could've stayed." I spoke my thought to her.
"And then what. Live your life thinking of if you did this, if you did that... You may think this decision was impulsive but maybe years down the line, you'd thank your younger self."
"Yeah."
There is a moment if silence. She broke it by asking, "Where are you?"
"Kausali. The view is beautiful. Lemme show you." I opened the sliding door and walked out to the balcony. Opening FaceTime, I showed her the view.
"Wow! The view is amazing. I wish I could come." She sighed. It reminded me that she probably has gotten her results for the PG exam.
"Have you received your grades yet?" I asked.
"No, they're gonna be released tomorrow."
"Good luck. Don't take any tension. I know you'll get in."
"I hope so too."

After lunch, I was waiting outside for Abhinav to come pick me up. A car came into my view and halted in front of me. Abhinav got out.
"Hey, ma'am—"
"Hello to you too and please drop the ma'am. It makes me feel old. Call me Akshara." I said, getting in the passenger seat.
He closed the door. "Okay."
"Where are we going today?"
"Gilbert Trail," he replied.
We arrived at our destination. He parked the car in the parking lot. We walked along the trail with the lush greenery walking along with us. Abhinav explained the history about this place.
He said, "Gilbert Trail was named after Sir Henry Gilbert who was a official in the British raj. It was designed as a retreat for the British officials who were working at that time."
We walked side-by-side as I took pictures of the new species of birds and insects I saw. After the trailing along, Abhinav took me to a tea stall and told me to wait on the bench so he could get me some chai.
I go through my photo gallery and see how the pictures were. Soon Abhinav came back with two chai cups.

How was the chapter?
I haven't gone over the grammar errors yet. I'll do it in the morning.
I know the chapter is quite short but I wanted to update something. Also, my updating schedule is that I will update a chapter for the 4 books one at a time that I'm currently writing on and then repeat. This way all of my readers can get a update. And this way its fair for everyone.
