chapter 6

Lillys pov

After Trinity and her daughter moved all their stuff in (Trinity in dad's room and her daughter in my room.) All I did was sit in my room facing the wall and ignoring the stanger in my room. Well I guess oud room now. She is going to live with me for the rest of my life probly so I should at least talk to her.

"Hey."

"uhh hi."

"I'm lilly. What's your name?"

"Haven."

"Cool. I hope you like the room and colors, if not we can repaint and redecorate."

"Oh no its fine how it is."

Haven talked very quietly. She was really shy.

"When's your birthday?"

"Uhh it's the 24 of October."

"Cool. My birthday is the 13 of november."

Haven git up ad went downstairs, probly to go see her mom. I just sat upstairs alone on my bed. I grabbed my favorite book off of the book case and read it for a while. After a few hours I fell asleep, dreaming about life with trinity and haven.

I woke up to haven gently shaking me.

"What?"

"Sorry to wake you but breakfast is ready and your dad told me to come wake you up."

"Ok."

I got out of bed and quickly brushed my hair. I went downstairs to the table and trinity was in my spot right next to dad. I felt like telling her that it was my spot but I know dad would be upset. I sat across from Dad because haven was on his other side. (We have a four sided table.) As we where eating dad told me and haven he had something to tell us.

"I know this may be hard for you both, being only child's for the past 13 years but now you both have each other as sisters. It will be like having a slumber party every night. Also me and trinity wanted to tell you that she is pregnant with a boy! Isn't that great? You both will soon have a baby brother!"

I dropped my spoon full of cereal and ran strait upstairs. I started crying and locked myself in the bathroom. I sat there crying for half an hour before haven knocked on the door. I stopped and opened the door.

"I know that this is hard, having two new people move into your house and a day later be told that your father's girlfriend is having a child. It's hard for me to. I didn't have a choice coming here. I don't like to interfere with other people's lives. But this is only a small problem for both of us. We could get through it together."

Wow. She sounded so serious, and it all came out of a scrawny little shy girl. I smiled and nodded. We talked for a while and got to no each other.

We talked, played board games, and took turns reading out loud from a book until it was dinner. I ate completely silently and right when I was done I ran upstairs and waited for haven. Once she was done eating and came upstairs we talked some more. We walk to the bathroom together so I could show her my purple earrings and when we where walking back I heard my big glass window shatter. A tall man ran in from the window and grabbed us both. I was screaming for my life while he knocked haven out with a cloth. The last thing I remember was dad and trinity running into the room while the man who had us was was dashing twards a big black van.
