BENEDICT! MY FAVOURITE BROTHER, YOU ARE LOOKING-Delphia was cut off with a sharp nudge to the ribs, her mother giving her a disapproving look. It was no secret Delphia wished to ride on the outside of the carriage but it was too scandalous to risk on the day of her debut.

"Tomorrow, dear sister. We will take the horses out for some time." Benedict gave his younger sister a wink as he helped her into the carriage, the bond between the bridgerton siblings was beautiful but Delphia and Benedict had always been the closest.

"I will be very upset indeed if your word does not hold up Benny," Delphia's voice had a teasing tone, she always knew Benedict could never break a promise to her.

"I wouldn't dream of letting you down."

The ride to the palace was daunting but as for the other Bridgerton twin, she was rather excited to be presented in front of the Queen. The soft smile that presented itself on Daphne's face was the complete opposite to her sisters, who'd nearly chewed off half her lip with the nerves that had settled deep inside her.

Delphia was never one to accept change in her life, she had her routine and always stayed within the walls of her home where she was safe with her family. Unfortunately she could not delay her debut any longer, it was her time and it scared the life out of the young woman.

Her brother, Anthony had arrived late just outside the palace doors helping his younger sister out of the carriage. Violet Bridgerton was less than happy with the man, but was grateful he hadn't missed the entire day.

Anthony and Violet had Daphne between them, Delphia choosing to walk behind with Benedict by her side. The palace was beautiful inside, looking at the details of the architecture around her had calmed the nerves of Delphia but once it was time for her family to leave, she could feel the same pit in her stomach.

Even though her sister and mother were going to be by her side the entire time, Delphia wished to be back at home watching Benedict paint or reading in the comfort of her bed. It took a moment for Delphia to release the right grip she had on Benedict's arms but after many promises that he'd be back to her side in no time, she finally let her brother go.

"Miss Daphne Bridgerton and Miss Delphia Bridgerton, presented by their mother, the Right Honorable, the Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton." It was the twins turn to appear before the queen and they had to be perfect, they couldn't be anything like the Featherington girls who'd embarrassed not just themselves but their family name in front of the Queen.

As the doors opened, Delphia followed Daphne's actions and held her head high, the twins walked in sync as they approached the throne where the Queen was watching with a curious eye. They took their final steps and lowered their heads to bow before the throne, the room was silent as the Queen stood for the first time.
