Jasmine's POV
Ring, ring ring. Yah schools over. Or so I thought. Ms. Ray wanted to speak to me. I really hope I'm not in trouble. By the look on her face, I'm definitely in deep dark trouble.
"Jasmine, I'm extremely disappointed. You know the exam is on Monday, yet you didn't complete your review."
"It's just a silly packet, Ms. Ray."
"It maybe so, but this silly packet is worth 1/4th of your grade on your final exam. You know what happens to people who don't pass, don't you?"
Yikes, I thought. How could I be so stupid.
Yanira's POV
Why wasn't I focussed in class today. The bell just rang and I have to stay in this hot, humid, and muggy classroom.
"Do you know why I had you stay after class today?"
"To give me another chance? No, how about to give me an award?"
"Yanira, you know why you are in PreAP Mathematics, right. I'm afraid that you will fail this exam because you aren't focused."
Both girls POV
The teacher walked over to her desk. She grabbed a piece of paper that had writing on it. Oh no, she is going to make me sign it.
She handed it to me and said, "You will be sent to a summer learning camp if you fail. I need you and your parents to sign and return this to me on Monday.
My mom is going to kill me.
Janie's POV
Where could they be? We agreed to meet here in the library after school at exactly 2:37.
Author POV
The other two girls walked into the library two seconds after. They had to explain the whole thing.
