[We're back to where we left off our 4 travelers, out of their winter attire and in their casual clothes. On their way to the Stepstones. Jacob seems to be on the ship's steering wheel with Selene scanning the map she obtained, Romeo casually leaning on the ship's side while Elliott is at the front of the ship.]
Elliott: Hey Selene! You said Palo Town is just up ahead right?
Selene: [Looking at the map.] Yeah, we should be close.
Romeo: Have you heard of Palo Town, Elliott?
Elliott: What's so special about it?
Romeo: Well it's said to be the execution place of criminals. Many infamous pirates have died there as they said their final words. One legendary pirate even said he left his treasure somewhere.
Elliott: Sounds like one long adventure, but probably fun.
Selene: Well we have our own adventure to take care of.
Elliott: Eh true.
Selene: So Mr. Amnesia, have retrieved at least some of your memories?
Elliott: Well... Not exactly, but I do remember having this weird dream before...
Selene: What about it?
Elliott: Well It was all blurry but I remember running with someone, there were multiple people, there was this explosion, and I remember there was rain.
Selene: Hmm... All seems very vague but could it be tied to you being experimented on?
Elliott: Hard to say really. [He looks at his hands as his Acid Magic manifests.] But one things for sure. I must be important for something. Something dangerous.
Jacob: Guys! I think I can see it!
[Elliott snaps back to reality as the others look to the front of the ship and they see Palo Town. Jacob steers the ship close and docks it. All four of them get off the ship and they look around.]
Selene: I swear if you nimrods get lost.
Elliott: Lost? Pfft, don't be ridiculous. [Selene points next to him and see that Jacob and Romeo are gone.] ... Great...
Selene: Come on. Let's go find those morons.
[We see Jacob and Romeo roam around and eventually get found by Elliott and Selene, which the latter pinches the brother's ears. The four walk around and find an Armory and they check out the armor and gear. They find stuff that are enchanted and can feel a significant increase in their abilities. Then they realize they look stupid with.]
Selene: Eh... I'm not going into battle looking like this...
Romeo: Yeah... I'd rather die in style.
Jacob: [Side eyes Romeo.] Uh-huh.
Shopkeeper: Oh I think I could help you with that, here. [He opens a case and it's filled with weird badges.] These are Vanity Stones. It's fairly common and it uses magic to alter the user's clothing.
[Everyone looks at each other.]
Elliott: We'll take four...
[Cut to them still in their casual clothes, but the effects on the armors and amulets they got from the armory are still there.]
