Aurora groaned a bit, eyebrows scrunching as the bright sunlight shone into her face. she nuzzled her face a bit further into her pillow, frowning a bit when she realized she was still sitting up.
odd.
the girl brought her fist up to rub the tiredness out of her eyes, allowing herself to adjust to her surroundings.
Oh. my. God.
Auroras lips parted in shock as she had been cuddled up against Walker, his head lulled to the side as soft snores escaped his pink lips. Aurora stilled, her heart swelling while she admired his features, before the smell of eggs and sausages wafted into her nostrils. she suddenly realized how hungry she had been, but she didn't want to pass up the chance to nuzzle herself against him. She curled back into his body, feeling his grip around her waist tighten.
"Sleep good last night?" A familiar voice rang out. Aurora froze, eyes growing wide.
"Mom? you're home..." She grimaced.
"Yeah." She replied shortly, sneaking a glance at Walker, who was beginning to stir awake. "He's cute. Breakfast is in the kitchen."
Aurora could hear the curious tone seeping through her words, and she knew that they would definitely be talking later. thankfully her mother had never been too strict, then they had a strong bond of trust between the two of them. Aurora could feel Walker lift his head, his thick eyebrows pinching together while his eyes adjusted to his surroundings.
"Goodmorninggg." Aroura grinned widely, shyly pressing her chin against his shoulder. It took everything in her to not show how nervous she was.
"Morning." He smiled at the pretty girl, "smells good. What'd you make?"
Aurora kissed her teeth, a grimace falling over her features, "Nothing."
at that, walker tilted his head, and a look of confusion took over his face.
"Mom's home."
