Home (Kirishima x reader)

Training, Day 2

~Time skip~

7:45am

This is the second day. I can't get injured again this time. I hope the teacher wouldn't bother so much about my injury and let me train,  you wondered as you prepare yourself to hear the announcement from the teacher

"Alright class, today is Day Two. This time, you will be allowed to choose your own partners. Please, pick those who will benefit your training, not just because you're their friend. Pick wisely, and good luck."

As everyone tries to find their partner, you see Kirishima standing alone. Doesn't he have friends? Why doesn't he have a partner yet?  you questioned as you walk towards Kirishima.

"Hey Kiri, what's up?"

"Oh, hey Y/N. How are you?"

You that he looks a little down.

"You okay? You wanna be my partner?"

"Yeah I'm fine, just something in my mind right now. And sure." 

You know he's not fine, but decides to ask him later, when you have the chance.

The time of choosing partners has come to an end, as you line up by the teacher with Kirishima to see where your station is. After you received your stations, you quickly rush to yours as you wait for the bell to ring. 

*Bell rings*

Everyone immediately starts pulling their first attacks, while you and Kirishima just stand there, waiting for the other to take the first shot. 

Come on, why aren't you moving yet? Do something...anything. You sighed as you decided to pull the first attack. You make two tornadoes: one that is placed in front of Kiri to distract him, and the other sneaks up from behind. He didn't noticed the first one, and turns around to dodge the one behind him. He was about to turn back to dodge the second one, but he moved too slow, and.. BAM

*Thuds*

You saw his body hit hard against the wall. Worried, you rushed up to him, and saw that his head was bleeding. You knew that they were going to hurt him, but not this bad.

"Kirishima...I didn't mean to. Please don't die on me." You look at his face, and see that he trying to say something.

"Y/N, don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I know you didn't mean it."

You were about to say something, but you instead turn around when you saw the rest of the students rushing over, trying to ask what happened. In the middle of your explanation, you heard something come out of Kiri's mouth.

"I really like you, Y/n. I hope you like me back too." He mumbled before he passed out due to blood loss.

You could've sworn you heard a whisper, but shrugged it off as you watch Kirishima get carried away to be treated at the hospital.
