Heeseung (Enhypen): crush

You've been Enhypen's manager ever since they debuted. Even though Jungwon is the group's leader you always felt that you could trust Heeseung to get things done for you over anyone else in the group. Not to mention he always volunteers to help you with whatever it is you need, so it was inevitable you'd rely on him for a lot over the years. Like whenever you need to shop for the group Heeseung always joined you.

Or if you needed help moving things from one room to another at the Hybe building Heeseung would do it for you without hesitation. You were always under the impression Heeseung was just naturally a helpful person but there was something deeper to the situation that you never knew. Of course, the real reason why he'd always volunteer to help you was so that he could be around you as often as possible. Whenever there was an opportunity to be with you one on one he'd always take it.

One day you entered the practice room where everyone was taking a well-deserved break after rehearsing new choreography. You knew if you asked for help with shopping at the supermarket that at least one of the boys would willingly go with you. Because that meant one of them would get to have a longer break and get to pick out something to snack on. And this time it was Jungwon that decided to volunteer.

Seeing the group's leader jump to his feet to join you was a surprise. Usually Heeseung would be the first to raise his hand and volunteer but for some reason he wasn't in the room and you'd just now realized it.

"Where's Heeseung?" You asked Jungwon as the two of you were leaving the room.

"He went to the restroom."

A tiny part of you almost regretted asking for help before Heeseung returned to the room but it was too late to think that way. You shrugged it off and headed down the hallway with Jungwon. But like clockwork Heeseung came running behind you.

"Where are you two going?" Heeseung asked loudly to get your attention.

When you heard his familiar voice you turned around, part of you was almost relieved to hear him call out. You noticed a strange expression on Heeseung's face when he reached you. He looked questioningly frantic for someone that just left the bathroom.

"Oh, Jungwon is helping me buy supplies for tonight." You smiled innocently.

Heeseung glanced behind you at his leader. The two exchanged very brief eye contact but in those few seconds they held a full conversation. Jungwon could tell Heeseung was pleading to let him go in his place. So as the best leader, and also knowing Heeseung has a crush on you, Jungwon silently agreed.

"Ah, you know what, nuna? I forgot I need to work on my footwork with our choreographer." Jungwon walked over to Heeseung, grabbed his friend's shoulder and turned to face you. "But I'm sure Heeseung hyung wouldn't mind going with you."

"Oh, alright. Is that okay with you?" You looked over at Heeseung and he nodded nonchalantly. "Great, let's go."

Jungwon waved the two of you bye. Heeseung turned around quick enough, so that you wouldn't see, to put his hands together and bow to Jungwon in appreciation. His group leader chuckled and swatted the air his hand.

Since the supermarket was only a couple blocks away the two of you walked there. Heeseung wore a white face mask and a baseball cap to shield his identity. When you got to the store it was surprisingly slow for the time of day, making the trip a little more enjoyable because you didn't have to rush in and out with dinner supplies right away.

"Let's take our time today." You said with a relaxed smile on your face.

You couldn't see it but Heeseung grinned at your smile. He nodded and happily agreed with you. As you leisurely strolled around the market pushing the metal shopping cart Heeseung's tall figure walked directly next to you with his hands on his hoodie pockets. Whenever you stopped for something he stopped with you.
