Jake (Enhypen): slow burn love

One night after a long evening of partying with your sorority sisters and friends your sorority house accidentally caught on fire. Luckily the fire was put out fairly quickly. But because of the damage done to part of the house you and your sorority sisters couldn't live there until the repairs were completed. The rest of the girls had the option to go home to their parents whereas you did not. Which left you, in particular, homeless.

You didn't know what you were going to do until Sunoo and Riki came up to you after one of your classes to ask what happened at the house. You grew close with the two as you've shared multiple classes with them since the first year of uni. So explaining your situation and how long it was going to take for the house to be repaired wasn't something you felt ashamed to admit to them. Without hesitation Sunoo offered you a place to stay. At his fraternity's house.

It's against the university's guidelines to let the opposite sex live in a fraternity/sorority house, for obvious reasons. But even knowing the risk Sunoo was taking with his fraternity, and you, he still offered to help you temporarily. Just long enough for the sorority house to be renovated and short enough that no one would know you were crashing at the frat house. You didn't have any other option and needed a place to stay as soon as possible so you accepted Sunoo's invitation.

After everyone's classes finished Riki and Sunoo took you over to the partially burned sorority house for you to pack your bags, then took you to their house. Everyone in Sunoo's fraternity was already aware of your situation and that you were staying with them for the time being. Staying with a group of college guys seems like an awkward situation to be in but luckily you knew everyone in the house fairly well already. In fact, you spoke to them on a first-name basis on campus because of Sunoo. You've partied with all of them at least a dozen times throughout your university life too.

The five other fraternity members greeted you as Riki and Sunoo took your bags upstairs for you. You handed out nonchalant hugs to everyone and thanked them for allowing you to stay for a while. Jongseong and Sunghoon returned to the kitchen to finish cooking dinner while Jungwon and Heeseung found themselves back on the couch resuming their video game. Jaeyun offered to show you around the house, seeing as no one else was going to, and you gladly followed him.

Jaeyun showed you where everything was on the first floor then proceeded to take you up stairs to where all the bedrooms and bathrooms were. The house itself was three-stories with four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second and third floor. Jaeyun led you to what was going to be your temporary bedroom and let you open the door to examine the room. The room was just about as big as yours back at the sorority house but definitely looked like a man decorated it. Fortunately it smelled clean.

"It's not much but I did my best to clean it up for you." Jaeyun said behind you.

Your turned to see him leaning the left side of his body against the doorframe, his hands in his jeans pockets. He looked really handsome in his green varsity jacket and blue jeans, especially with his shaggy black hair pulled back in a small half-ponytail. Jaeyun looked like a classic university frat boy but with hints of gentleness in his facial features.

"It's perfect, thank you." You bowed your head in appreciation.

"Well, I'll leave you to unpack." Jaeyun said as he pushed himself off the doorframe. "If you ever need anything my room is right next door."

He half waved, half saluted to you with a smile on his face just before he closed the door. You took in a deep breath and looked around the room again before finally unpacking your suitcase and numerous bags. You glanced down at the full-size bed and noticed all the linens on it were clean and tucked into the mattress neatly. Remembering how Jaeyun said he fixed up the room for you made you wonder if he's just a really good housekeeper.
