As the morning sun shined through the blinds of the old Plantation House Stiles was lying next to Hayley mesmerized by her beauty.
Stiles POV:
"You're staring." Hayley muttered as she woke up making me softly smile.
"I apologize if I made you uncomfortable, but I'm mesmerized by you." I said making Hayley blush before looked up into my eyes.
"You're not so bad yourself." Hayley said before she laid her head into my chest while I listened to our child's heartbeat.
"Stiles. Can you tell me what it was like before humans existed?" Hayley asked as I leaned back while on the other side of the door Niklaus stood listening.
"When I was first created Earth was beautiful. The entire planet was covered in forest for miles in every direction and the first breed of animals you know of today were truly spectacular, but as the century's went by there were less forest and animals and more humans who saw fit to destroy what they touched and build on top of the dead." I said as my eyes glowed a dim crimson red.
"That sounds sad." Hayley stated as I chuckled.
"It is especially when you are the one who birthed the species responsible." I said as Hayley reached up and caressed my cheek.
