the beginning of the end

It was a normal day at the the village where Dawn of the Midnightsun waited. Though everyone called her Dawn. She was in her room getting ready for the meeting that night. Held at the abandoned house on the edge of town.She looked out her window and up into the sky to find the black bird signal high in the sky. Her parents didn't know she still remained a blackbird after they retired. So she had to rush out of the house and to the meeting place.

As she arrived she heard some whispering. She walked by a large group and overheard someone say that on there mission him and two of his friends barely came back alive. She just kept walking with her black cape on hood up until she reached the meeting room and stood waiting. As it began they started saying all the names of who they had lost.

There were many moments of silence before they talked again she caught a few guys staring at her and the leader keeping an eye on her which was very strange.

But she decided to ignore it many hours had past before everyone who had a mission was grouped up and sent off. That's when the leader slipped her a note before she left and ran home. Silently getting in her room she pulled out the note.

Don't worry I have got your back we are going to be extinct if we don't do anything soon and it is up to you to find out and save us good luck meet me tomorrow night on the hill above your house

She read it one more time and nodded she then packed her stuff and slid the bag under her bed. Before slipping off into an unpleasant dream. Once she had woken up she was going to be late she couldn't believe she had slept all day so she got ready and rushed out of the house again and onto the hill.AS the leader started talking she got mad and ran away from him all the way tell wolves started chasing her.

This is my first story so please just give me tips and all that I want you guys to be able to read it.
