Years past and though gage and Dawn were supposed to be they weren't because they aged slowly. Have found the shadow book and was looking for Dawn for he wanted to set a curse on her so if she found the book signing would happen. When he found her she looked like a leopard wolf growling he started chanting the curse. Gage is a pure black muscular wolf. As the curse ended gage bit down on Dawne neck. Dawn lieu of a yelp that satisfied have so he let go and gave a warning growl before running off.
Sorry it's so short but it's a brief part of her past in the next chapter it will go back to the present.
