Cody and Callista stood together in the warm, cozy kitchen, their hearts racing with a thrilling mixture of excitement and nerves as they prepared to share their special news with their loved ones.

The room was filled with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the cheerful chatter of family and friends who had gathered for a casual Sunday gathering.

Callista's eyes sparkled with anticipation as she glanced up at Cody, silently communicating the unspoken words that danced on the tip of her tongue.

Cody gave her hand a gentle squeeze, his own face alight with a radiant smile that betrayed the emotions swirling within.

They had been eagerly awaiting this moment, carefully planning the perfect way to reveal that their little family was about to grow.

After their first child, the delightful Clover, had arrived a little over two years ago, Cody and Callista had longed for the pitter-patter of tiny feet once more.

And now, the time had come to share their joyous news.

As Clover played happily on the kitchen floor, blissfully unaware of the momentous occasion about to unfold, Cody cleared his throat, instantly commanding the attention of the room.

All eyes turned to the couple, each face filled with curiosity and anticipation.

Callista felt a flutter of nerves in the pit of her stomach, but Cody's steady presence at her side gave her the courage to speak.

"Everyone," Cody began, his voice warm and filled with emotion, "Callista and I have something we'd like to share with you all today." He paused, glancing down at his wife with adoring eyes. "We're...we're having another baby."

The room erupted in a chorus of delighted gasps and joyful exclamations.

Clover, sensing the shift in energy, looked up from her toys, her eyes wide with wonder.

Callista watched as her cousin, Destiny, rushed forward, enveloping her in a tight hug, tears of happiness glistening in her eyes.

John, Destiny's husband, followed suit, wrapping Cody in a hearty embrace and offering his heartfelt congratulations.

"Oh, my goodness!" Destiny exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion. "This is such wonderful news! I'm so happy for you both." She pulled back, her gaze sweeping over Callista's still-flat abdomen. "How far along are you? When are you due?"

Callista couldn't help but giggle at her cousin's enthusiasm. "I'm only about 13 weeks, you know, just about into the second trimester," she replied, her hand instinctively cradling her belly. "The due date is sometime in early November."
