Ethan isn't as bad as Isabella and Larissa made him out to be. I mean I don't know much of last year, but people can change? Right? "And here you guys go." The McDonald's worker said, placing the tray down in the middle of us.

"Oh, thank you!" I said, as Ethan grabbed his big mac burger and start to devour his food. I unwrapped my burger as I fixed it a little before taking a first bite. It's not bad as a McDonald's burger. It was actually juicy and fresh, very rare of them. "Mmm." I said as I felt happy. Food is always the key. 

I opened my eyes as I took another bite before looking up at him to see him already looking at me. "You're smiling... over food?" He awkwardly said. 

"Food is the key to my heart, and part of my happiness." I told him, after swallowing the bite I chewed, "It's always been." I shrugged, before taking another bite in the middle as I said, "Mmm!" A little louder, causing him to cough. 

"Uh, Anastasia.. is it that good that you have to moan?" He asked, as I shot my eyes open as I felt my cheeks flush. "S-Sorry." I said, growing embarrassed. 

After a while, we both was finished as I was dying to ask him a question, but was hesitant, "What?" He asked, giving me a look. I looked at him as I sat up more, "Ethan... can you be honest with me?" He raised an eyebrow as I grew nervous and didn't know how to ask the question, instead I asked, "How does my shoes look with this outfit? I couldn't decide because nothing matched with this hoodie?" 

"What's the actual question?" He asked, taking a drink of his water. 

"Do you guys have some kind of bet on me?" I asked, as he almost choked on his water, as he looked at me, "Please be honest with me... I-I know you don't owe that to me. But... I'd like to know." 

"Anastasia..." He said, as he looked away, looking guilty, "If I tell you... it's going to hurt you." I already knew that answer.

"Was Sebastian in on it?" I asked, but then it got cut off by my phone vibrating on the table. I lift it up seeing his name across the screen. I pressed the power button once, before looking at him as he was silent. "Ethan?" I asked, looking at him with pleading eyes, "Please tell me."

"Why don't we go in my car and talk? Yeah?" He asked, I knew deep down this wasn't good. I think I already knew the answer.

When we got into the car, I turned my body to his direction as he stayed silent, "Do you guys have some kind of bet on me and was Sebastian involved?" I asked again, as he closed his eyes, before looking at me.

"Yes, Anastasia... we did have a bet on you." He said, as I felt my heart drop, "And yes... Sebastian was involved in it." I stayed silent, feeling hurt, confused and lost.

"So... I was just a bet..?" I asked, trying to control my emotions, "To... you all?"

"At first." He said, looking away, "Jack was the one that brought it up. We all went along, first Sebastian was arguing with all of us. Jack somehow sneered him in... I don't want to lie to you..." He took a deep breath, "since we saw you as a prize, you was a bet of a grand." I turned my body to face forward as He continued, "When we found out about the party, I figured that I'd invite you..." 

"So you can take advantage of me.." I whispered out, as I was fighting tears. 

"Well.. I wouldn't say it like that." He awkwardly said, "You're too smart as you think." He said, trying to compliment me. At this point I was more focused on Sebastian. I was just a bet to him.

"I was just a bet to him?" I barely came out to a whisper, as he was silent, "Did... he tell you about last night?" I asked.

"That you guys kissed.." He said, as I closed my eyes, leaning forward with my hands holding the back of my head, "Anastasia... it was just one kiss." He tried to reassure me, I shot up as I said loud, "Just a kiss?! For him was it?! Because it was sure my first ever kiss!" He looked at me shocked. 

"Oh fuck..."
