Estrella and Chloe sat in the waiting room of Chloe's audition for Hylla. This was for season two of Percy Jackson, basically the sister's favorite book series to ever exist.
Chloe Hernandez was a famous actress. Only at her young age of 19, she had been in two Marvel movies, been a judge on Is It Cake? and voice acted in Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse. She was super popular, like Ariana Greenblatt popular.
Estrella, on the other hand, was not super famous. She was known as Chloe's sister to most people. People knew her from her Tiktok account, but that's pretty much it. Compared to Chloe, Estrella was super energetic. She talked a lot and did a lot of ranting to her friends.
At that moment, Chloe had poked Estrella on the shoulder. The younger sister winced.
"What do you want, Chloe?" Estrella groaned. But when she looked up from her phone, she noticed a crowd of girls surrounding a blonde guy, brunette girl, and curly headed boy. Estrella stood up and tried to shift herself in the crowd. She somehow got up front after girls tried to push her away.
"Oh my days!" The brunette girl squealed. She gave Estrella a huge hug. "You're Chloe's sister! I love watching your TikToks!"
"Well, her name is Estrella," the blonde boy corrected. The brunette finally released Estrella, and she looked back and forth at the two kids.
"I'm Aryan, this is Leah, and that's Walker. We're part of the cast," Aryan clarified. Estrella stared at them blankly until it clicked in her head. Celebrities. Percy Jackson. Blonde boy.
"Ohhhhh, now that makes sense. Wow, it's nice to meet y'all! I'm Estrella, well, like Walker said."
"You auditioning for something?" Leah questioned.
"Nope, but my sister is," Estrella answered. She had noticed some of the crowd had shifted away from the four kids to Chloe and some other actors. "Gosh, look at her, getting photos from the paparazzi."
"Don't be intimidated, Estrella. Fans are most of the time nice, and some are, well..." Leah lowered her voice.
"We like to call Walker's fans Walkie Stalkies. It's pretty funny," Aryan joked. Walker plucked him on the arm, which silenced him.
"Chloe Hernandez, it's time for your audition!" Estrella turned to the door. A ginger lady stood with a clipboard in one hand and a pen in the other.
"Well, I got to go. We're helping them judge and stuff," Walker said. "But it was nice to meet you. Hope to see you again!"
"Oh, well, good luck with dealing with her. She can be a handful," Estrella joked. Leah and Aryan laughed while Walker smiled. Chloe stood up and had to get away from the mountain of fans as the trio walked to the doorway.
