September 9th, 2024 (present)
Estrella sits in the front seat of her mom's car as the vehicle pulls up to set. Her mom is on the phone with Estrella's aunt so Estrella quietly opens the door.
"Bye mom," Estrella whispers, kissing her mother's cheek. Her mom smiles at the fifteen year old and waves to her. Estrella steps out of the black car and lugs her backpack over her left shoulder. She grabs her container of fries she wants to share with Clementine and closes the door. She walks off and feels for her phone to make sure she didn't leave anything.
Estrella searches her backpack pocket for her keycard to enter the overall building. Once she gets in, Clementine is waiting for her at the elevator.
"Hi!" Clementine exclaims, walking over to the younger Hernandez sister.
"Hey," Estrella replies, handing Clementine three fries and following her to the elevator. "Here are your fries since you were begging, you hungry hungry hippo." Clementine gives the brunette a deadpan look and presses the up button on the elevator. They talk as they wait for the ding of the elevator, singling its arrival. The two girls file in, along with a few other actors that aren't on their Percy Jackson set.
"How's set so far?" Estrella asks as the elevator stops and lets three blond girls out. It's just Estrella, Clementine, and a 20 year old lady.
"Chaotic. Charlie kept messing up his lines when I was rehearsing him, Walker and Hana kept play fighting, and your sister is stressing out about costumes since they aren't to her scene yet." Clementine takes a deep breath after talking nonstop and not breathing. Estrella giggles.
"So basically it's hectic without me?"
"Yeah, basically." The two walk out of the elevator and smile at the other lady. "Okay, so I'm pretty sure they're still on break, but-"Clementine checks her watch. 4:02. "-I believe they're done with it." Clementine slides her keycard in and opens the door, letting Estrella in. The two walk to the dressing room but check the closet for one of the props Estrella needs. She opens the door and her face falls.
"What. The fuck." Clementine's eyes widen and she covers her mouth, looking at the two standing there.
Walker and Hana are in the closet. They were kissing. Hana was kissing Walker, but worse. He was also kissing back.
