Billie sat up against the bed's headboard with her phone in hand, staring intensely at old pictures of herself, eye welling up with tears as she still felt the same as she did when she was sixteen. She thought that growing older would mean that these old feelings and old habits would retire, but of course, this proved to be untrue. Again, she found herself sad and angry all the time, getting right back into her writer's block after she just finished writing that amazing song two weeks prior.
