What more worse can happen? Tae thought as he looked at the two, jungkook and jieun. They're standing so close to each other that it made tae clench his hands into fist when his heart clenched at the uneasy fear.
It was an awful site in front of tae. He can see how worried jungkook was when he spotted the girl and now, looking at them, tae can surely say something happened because of which jungkook looks broken and sad towards jieun.
Tae : Did he confess his love or what? And, got rejected instead?
He starts thinking negatively coz the sight in front of him was making it look like jungkook begging jieun for something. Maybe, apologizing? Well it definitely looked like that. Jungkook's desperate eyes, slightly shaking hands and lastly the disappointed look on jieun's face. And all he could think was jungkook, maybe getting rejected by jieun but why?
Further, the sight infuriated him to the core. He didn't like how jungkook softly caressed her face while wiping her tears. But why is she crying?
Well tae doesn't give a fuck about why the girl is crying. It's not like he's heartless or something but there's no need for him to worry about a stranger.
After some 30 minutes, he sees the conversation coming to an end when the two hugged each other. Well, he can clearly see how jieun hugged his bunny. The hug held something that tae couldn't decipher

And then, jieun was out of sight within minutes. When jungkook turned around to tae, the latter observed how worried the male was. Maybe more worried for tae than for jieun?
As soon as jungkook came to tae, he bent down to tae's level and cupped his face in his cold hands
Jungkook : what happened, hyung?
Tae : huh?
He's clearly confused, like man it was his question to ask but here jungkook is asking about him.
Jungkook : Why are you crying, hyungie?
His voice is so soft that tae visibly melted in his care. Few more drops of tears starts falling from his eyes, hearing the concerned voice.
Tae : Ko...kook (sniffles)...kookie.... promise me th..that (hiccups) you'll never...leave me...please, promise me that (starts sobbing and hugs his best friend)
Jungkook immediately embraces the elder in his arms and starts rubbing his back in a soothing manner

Jungkook : What are you saying, taehyung hyungie hyung? You're my everything, hyungie .....I can't live without you and you're talking about me leaving you? I would rather die than to leave you, hyung....
Tae clutches onto him tightly and starts pouring out his fear through tears. His heart aches badly as he thinks his kookie will leave him for that girl.
Tae : I love you, kookie...
He confessed. But he regrets it as soon as he feels the male holding him loosening his grip over tae.

Before tae can apologize for loving him more than a best friend, jungkook beat him with his words, which definitely broke his injured heart
Jungkook : I love you too, hyungie... You're my bestest friend, hyung and I love you more than you can imagine... Thanks for coming in to my life like an angel you are...
Jungkook smiled at his own words and breaks the hug.
For a moment jungkook saw raw emotions on tae's face which the elder quickly hid with his fake smile
Another harsh truth right? At least, by now tae is sure that jungkook doesn't loves him as a person
He's straight and he prefers girls.
Tae : Hmm...kook... it's late, we should head back now... tomorrow morning we'll leave to Seoul, ok?
Jungkook nods his head smiling and helps the elder in getting up
Tae starts walking to his room, followed by jungkook.
Opening the door, both the males regretted drinking as the entire room was a mess. They didn't let anyone enter the room as tae wasn't well and now they're regretting not to clean it when they went out
Tae : I'll call the room service...
Jungkook : hyung, you go and take rest while I phone them
Tae nods his head and slumps on his bed tiredly. He's tired from all the crying and overthinking thoughts and now he needs to stabilize his emotions
After cleaners went away, jungkook hesitated to sleep on the same bed with tae. Vivid memories of the night played in his mind whenever he sees tae sleeping on his stomach. And sleeping beside him will be the worst decision he'll make considering the situation they are in. So with a heavy sigh, jungkook chose to sleep on the couch

Morning came and the two males were now driving towards Seoul.
They thought everything will go back to the same but it's different and the two can absolutely feel that.
Tae was never a person to travel and not sing his lungs out but today the car was thick with unsaid emotions. There was some unknown strangeness that both could feel but for now they thought that, time would heal everything.
Is that so? The two wondered and eventually got their answers.
But, two years was long right? To get their answers, two long years passed away and none of them was able to point out the reason.
Was it the sex? Or the unsaid feelings? Or something more?
