"Him," Sunoo pointed discreetly to another male across the room, whispering into his best friend's ear. "I want him."

"Seriously?" Jungwon scoffed, clearly finding this notion ridiculous. "He has a girlfriend, don't you know?"

"Of course I do," Sunoo grinned, keeping his gaze on the male across the room. "She's more boring than a blank sheet of paper."

"Well, you'll have to get his attention somehow. You know you can't just talk to them without permiss-"

"I'm aware," Sunoo snapped, his sudden shout catching the eyes of a few others around him. "I know what I'm doing."

Little did Jungwon know, Sunoo really did have a plan, and a good one at that.

Today was quite important - tryouts. Everyone gathered in that room was a trainee, and each individual would have to perform in front of the judges and the other students. Sunoo planned on using this to his advantage.

His song, his choreography, and every little detail was made for Heeseung. Even his outfit, like the pale pink choker caught around his neck. Sure, Heeseung might've been taken, but an omega like Sunoo should be far more tempting than his beta girlfriend, right?

Sunoo didn't care if he was taken, or 'straight.' Being an omega would hopefully be enough to change Heeseung's mind.

Sunoo was towards the end of the line, only followed by a few other trainees and standing right behind Jungwon. The two were probably more critical of the performances than the judges themselves. Most of their commentary were things like, "Why does he sound like he's dying?" Or maybe, "he's so stiff, it's hard to watch." These chats were kept as hushed whispers into each other's ears.

Of course, when it came to the alphas, especially Heeseung and Jay, they were practically gushing.

Jungwon and Jay were already together, and Sunoo always tried his best to conceal his jealousy. He couldn't understand why nobody paid any attention to him. Maybe he was trying too hard? Maybe it was his weight or his personality? Either way, their relationship made Sunoo question nearly every aspect of himself, both physically and personally.

He's asked Jungwon for advice many times, but always got the same answer: you can't look for love. Love will just find you.

Sunoo had a hard time following that advice. After all, he's been surrounded by other alphas many times, and not once has he been pursued.
