Jake x Niki
Jake and Niki have been best friends for years, and for the first time in weeks, they decide to go to the bar together. Little do they know, this evening would change their entire relationship.

"I'm not drinking tonight," Jake announced cheerily as he took another sip of his boring glass of ice-water.
"Yeah, we'll see about that," Sunghoon chuckled quietly. In his mind, the three of them had come to the bar for a reason, and it certainly wasn't to stay sober.
"Well, someone has to drive us home," Jake smiled proudly, glancing over at Niki, who simply shrugged in response. "...are you feeling alright, Niki?"
"Me?" He raised an eyebrow. "Uh...yeah, why?"
"...just asking, I guess," Jake waved him off, refocusing on Sunghoon who was feeling much more chatty.
Niki was tired, plain and simple. He'd gotten so used to coming to the bar these days that it didn't even feel exciting anymore. That is, unless he finds a man who wants to take him home for the night.
And his friends didn't know about a single bit of it. The drinking, the hookups, they were all kept a dark secret.
"...yeah, it just didn't work out, I guess. She was always bitching anyway so I don't mind," Sunghoon laughed, swirling around the glass in his hand as he gossiped about his ex-girlfriend.
Nobody liked her anyways.
"Yeah, we'll see how long that lasts," Jake shot Niki a playful glance, noticing how Niki didn't even react in the slightest. Usually Niki loved to tease them, so it sent the alarms off in Jake's brain instantly. "Niki, what's wrong with you tonight?"
"Wha- I told you I'm fine!" Niki snapped, shifting in his seat to face the crowd.
The two flinched from his outburst, staring skeptically at each other, speaking with their eyes. "Will you just spit it out already? You're obviously not fine."
"Yes I am," Niki retorted, hunching onto the table and allowing his caramel-colored hair to sprawl across his arms.. He squeezed his eyes shut as if he could easily make the world disappear.
He couldn't say why he was upset. Why? Because he didn't know either.
