Chapter 27

Once Ness managed to catch the ball he quickly passed to Grim, and Grim kicked the ball towards Kaiser. Suddenly Kunigami and Shidou appeared beside him and kicked the ball away.

Raichi managed to catch it but it was quickly stolen by Charles. I then started running after him with a frustrated expression.

'Dammit! Just now, if I have just backed up Raichi I could've had the ball right now.' I thought to myself and started thinking of a way on how to defeat Charles. 'Trying to observe and analyze his movements is harder than I thought... I'll have to look at the finer details. Otherwize, I won't be able to keep up!' I looked at him in frustration but at the same time I looked at him in awe.

"I'll defeat you Charles! And end this stupid game!" I muttered and saw Charles looked at me with a smirk.

"Hiori!" I yelled and he started running beside me.

"I'm on it!" He responded and both of us ran passed Isagi and Rin to go after Charles.

"Not so fast, Charles!" I said and me and Hiori are currently running beside him. "We saw that comin' contrarian-kun!" Hiori said and Charles just smirks.

"Not bad, madamoiselle and cyan frère. But you two are one tempo..." He then stopped and kicked the ball towards Shidou making both our eyes widen. "Too slow!" He finishes making me clicked my tounge in frustration.

Just as Shidou was about to recieve it, Kunigami went beside him and kicked it away. I then noticed Charles started running forward.

"Go after him [Name]! I'll go deal with Karasu!" Hiori exclaimed and I nodded before running after Charles. Even though Karasu is being marked by Hiori he still managed to pass the ball to Charles. I then started glancing around looking to where Charles might kicked the ball to.

'If I'm gonna defeat Charles... I have to take full advantage when Charkes is itching to pass to Shidou. But if the pass route to Shidou is broken, he has no choice to use other options...' I thought and started glancing at Rin, Nanase and Zantetsu. 'No that's not right... even if it seems like the pass route to Shidou is shut down, it isn't... which means his going to pass...' Kaiser and Ness then got infront of him. Rin went beside Charles to support him but instead of passing the ball to Rin he decided to kick the ball towards Shidou which Kaiser and Ness failed to block because of how fast it is... but that didn't work on me... I quickly got to where Charles kicked the ball and blocked it.

"Right here." I muttered and their eyes widen in shock. "I'm starting to figure you out Charles... instead of a straight forward pass you love attepting to do one of those anoying passes." I then looked at him and smirked. "If your thinking of attempting to do one of those passes again then think again... cause I'll be there to stop them."

Charles then looked at me with a frustrated expression. "Your starting to get really annoying when it comes to playing on the feild... damn Shadow." He said making me let out a quiet chuckle.

"Hey you two... let me join the fun too!" Raichi said and caught the ball he was being marked by one of the opposing players, so he immediately passed the ball to Hiori. He then quickly passed the ball to me after noticing Ness running towards him. Once I caught the ball Karasu go in front of me.

"Ya should pay more attention on what's in front of ya, fucking shadow. Try getting past the three of us." He said and I looked behind me to see Zantetsu and Nanase running towards me.
