"Homura! Let go of Kyubey!" The blonde girl exclaimed, angrily.
"You can't stop me! I'm killing him once and for all. For Madoka's sake and everyone else's!"
"For my sake?" I said, before the blonde girl spoke once amore.
"Who is that?.. No time for questions, let go of him."
"You can't make me. Not now." Homura answered, and pointed a gun at Kyubey.
"Can you two calm down and tell me what's going on? Please!?"
"Yeah!" Sayaka agreed.. Homura shot the creature. "Now we can talk."

Chapter 3:
Puella magis

Kyubey suddenly jumped out of the shadows.
"Madoka, Sayaka! Will you make a contract with me?" It asked, as Homura turned to look at me.
"Madoka, please don't..." she begged.
"What for..?" Sayaka asked Kyubey.
"I'll grant you any wish, and in return, you become a puella magi - a magical girl who fights witches!"
"What wishes?.. Bad witches..?" I asked.
"Yeah, they're bad, and that's why I need more puella magis to fight them and help me save the world!"
I stood still. I'd be granted any wish that I wanted, but I would have to fight witches..

"I'll do it!" Sayaka yelled, eagerly.
"S-Sayaka! Take a moment to think about it.." I said.

"No way! If I get any wish granted, I will do anything! I don't care about extra details, not about footnotes, nothing!"
"See, that's exactly the spirit I'm looking for!" Kyubey said.
"You don't even understand human emotions..." Homura mumbled.

"If Sayaka's going to be a puella magi... then I am too." I said. Homura's eyes widened, as she leapt towards me and grabbed my thigh-highs.
"Madoka, please! Please, I'm begging you!"

"Homura.." I looked down at her. "I understand that you want my best... But this is what I want to do. Shouldn't that be more important than what you want, if you're doing this for me?"
"Will you please just... listen to me?.. For.. For a second."

"H-Hom..ura..." I said, in a shaky voice. "I will make the contract, despite your... objections.."
"But why...?" she said, tears forming in her eyes again, as I slowly walked over to Kyubey.
