Chapter 25

Ashley POV:

I get home and I still have 3 hours till my date with Jake.

I decide to check Twitter and of course Tom and this stupid girl is the first think that shows up.

I can't believe him! At least now I have someone who loves me. I start to get ready. I put on skinny jeans and an Aeropostale tee.

I go to the bathroom to do my hair and make up.

I do a smokey eye and I brush my hair. I get ready with about 30 minutes left to spare.

I make sure I have my wallet and phone in my purse. I see chap stick. I put some one thinking, it might come in handy."

I hear someone knock on the door. It's still 15 minutes till Jake is suppose to pick me up. I look through my peep hole and I see a package.

It's from Tom. I bring it inside and open it with a pair of scissors. It's some of the stuff I left in England.

It was some photos of Tom and I, some thugs bought in England and more random stuff. As I put this stuff away I realize that there is something still in the box. It's a note,it reads:

"Hey Ashley,

As of now you probably know that I have a girlfriend. I know you have probably found someone special to you with how beautiful you are. I wanted to give you back these things, especially the photos. I want to remind you of the special love and bond we had. I will always love you Ashley.....Forever and Always."

I froze....that was a sweet message by the thing that caught my eye was that he remembered. When I first had met him and we had been dating for a while. I had asked him if he would live my Forever and Always.

I couldn't believe that he remember. I hear someone knock on the door and that knocks me out of Tom's trance.

I grab my purse and open the door. There stood my date. A handsome man in shorts and a tank top. I couldn't stop staring....that tank top really showed off his muscles.

I realize I was starting and try and stop that awkward moment from happening.

"Hey jake."

He jumps and says.

"Oh hey Ashley....I just...your so beautiful."

I blush.

"Aw thank you....you look pretty good yourself."

Oh my gosh....did I just say that out loud. I blush of embarrassment and he just grins.

"Why don't we get going?"

"Ok."

He leads me to the car and we head to Santa Monica.

It's about an hour drive but once we get there it's beautiful.

We get there and we see a food truck. It's a taco truck so we get some Tacos and head down to the beach.

Jake had brought a huge bag of towels, sunscreen, and a two person inter-tub.

We sit in our towels and eat.

"This is a beautiful sunset!" I say.

"Yeah what a great time of day to be here."

I decide to get the inter-tube first. We both climb on after many failures to get on without knocking the other off.

As we sit there I feel Jake intertwine our hands. I turn towards him and smile. He reaches over and puts his hand on my face.

He pulls me in to kiss when he makes us fall off the float and into the water.

"Really smooth Jake.....real smooth."

We laugh it off and decide to walk along the shore before it gets too late.

He intertwines our hands and we begin to walk. Right before the sun sets.

He turns toward me.

"Let's give this a second chance".

He leans in and kisses me. I put my arms around his neck and he wraps his arms around my waist.

I kiss him back and he pulls always.

"I don't know why someone would be so stupid with someone as amazing as you."

I don't know either...

Tom POV:

I wake up the next morning and head straight to the computer. It's time for mianite.

I log into the server and see that Sonja and Tucker are on.

"Hey guys!"

The comments explode!

"Why would you do that to Ashley?"

"Your such a jerk Tom! I'm unsubscribing!"

And many more comments about how mean I am.

I decide that mianite isn't really a good option right now.

I check my phone and I see that Harper has texted me.

"Meet me here at 2! ________"

That's a futbol field! What will we be doing there?

I out on some athletic clothes and head to the park.

I park and I see Harper shooting at a goal. I didn't know she was into sports.

"Hey Harper!"

She turns around.

"Hey babe! Want to play some?"

"Sure I'll be keeper."

I saved one shot but most of the time I struck it right past me. The lasts time she strikes it I turned away for one second.

BOOM!

I get smacked in the face with the ball. I lay there for a second and close my eyes to fool Harper.

"Tom! You ok?" I hear her say as she runs up to me.

"Oh no! I hurt him! He's out!"

She turns away and I grab her leg and yell "BOO!"

She falls in a huge mud puddle.

I laughed so hard I wasn't paying attention when she walked up to me and push me into it.

I grab her leg and pull her into it. She ends up falling on top of me. I move a strand of hair from her face.

I lean in and kiss her. At first she is frozen but kiss back once she knows what happening.

She pulls away and lays down on my chest.

Could life get any better?
