AUTHOR'S POV
It was another sunday when Aliza literally blackmailed Ahmed to accompany them out for shopping since Shaheer was busy even on weekend.
Sitting on the driving seat Ahmed spoke turning his attention to Emira who was sitting at the backseat.
"Siso, i wanna ask you some questions to you. Can I?" He said to emira making Aliza stop her movement because she was busy showing Emira some pictures from her party last night, sitting beside her to which she hummed
"Before marrying shaheer, what did you like the most about him? Like what made you think that he's the one" he aksed
"You know we both didn't interact before our marriage" she said after few seconds trying to process his words
"Ok got it but you are still with him that means you do like him right" he said giving emira a glance through back view mirror.
Emira slightly nodded her head nervously. They all maybe so open minded but such topics makes her nervous.
"Then tell me" he insisted
"Wait wait Wait, dont tell me youre in love w someone and youre asking her all these to impresss her" Aliza said interfering, sitting a little ahead to look at Amhed's face .
"Yes i do now shut up and let me take notes" he said
"NO don't tell him anything, i'll personally ask mamma to teach you about these things ok my dear brother" Aliza said smiling at him mischieviously
"Aliza you re not telling anything to her" he said glaring at her from the mirror but she cared less sitting back at her place she leaned her head towards emira's shoulder
"Such a coward he is" she said making him speak something under his breath silently focusing on the streets
After reaching at the mall they all went to ladies section, shopping for all the three ladies while ahmed was serving his classic brother behaviour to aliza, literally calling her ugly in every dress.
"Aliza stop wasting our time nothing is looking good on you please" he said showing her his palm to which she snapped "who asked"
"Aliza lets take this one for ammi this color suits her well" said emira.
Emira's POV
"I don't know why I agreed to this," grumbled Ahmed, hands shoved deep into his pockets, already regretting his existence.
"Oh, stop whining," Alize rolled her eyes. "You act like we dragged you here against your will."
"You did drag me here," Ahmed shot back. "I was perfectly happy on the couch, but nooo-'We need a man to carry the bags.'" He turned to me with exaggerated sorrow.
"Tell me, little sister-in-law, is this marriage life? Is this what happens? Women lure you in with love and then make you their personal assistant?"
I laughed, shaking my head. "I think you just got tricked into coming."
Ahmed smirked.
"That's because you're still in the honeymoon phase. Wait until a few more shopping trips with my dear brother-then you'll learn."
