Me, Xylo and Recaro had decided that the mirror holding set needed a check up, to make sure it was still stable enough to hold him. As it has been ages since anyone probably checked on it, so now we were sitting in Bryan's mansion discussing how we should go about studying it. "We need to make sure that this stays away from the campers" Xlyo said while pacing back and forth around the room "it's better that they don't know about this, we don't want it getting in the wrong hands" Recaro agreed "dad's right, we don't want him breaking out again" I sighed "that's why we're here, too make sure that doesn't happen" I paused "I have told a few people about this" I finally said, Xlyo and Recro turned to face me "like who?" Xlyo asked "well I told Bryan and my kids" I began "and Kaiba" they both looked at me confused "that's the son of Bastet right?" Xlyo said, I nodded "why does he need to know?" He asked "because Set is our uncle, so I thought he should know" I explained, Recaro looked confused "wait so I'm related to Kaiba?" He asked "yeah, family is confusing I know" Xylo sighed and sat down "okay so who else knows?" Recaro leaned back "well I told Momeji" we all went quiet, remembering what had happened before. To break the silence Xlyo spoke "Is she okay?" He asked sounding concerned "I can't imagine how scared she must be" I added "she's stressed out but overall she's fine" he finally answered, Zylo rubbed his eyes "okay now, what we do"
We all sat there in silence for a few minutes thinking independently on how we should go about this, Xylo spoke first "before we do anything" he said "we need to make sure the camp is completely safe" Xylo looked at me "unless your willing to stay there with the mirror for a while?" I immediately shook my head "I'd prefer not to do that" I said while leaning back "understandable" he said "so before we bring it here we need camp to be completely safe, we can't have any possibilities of something happening to camp" me and Recaro nodded in agreement"how long do you think that will take?" Recaro asked "to do what?" Xylo seemed to be in thought instead of paying attention to the conversation "to get camp safe enough" he said "and, how do you plan on doing to that?" I asked "I mean we can hardly keep camp safe as it is?" I chuckled both nervously and sarcastically, Xylo sighed "by using force" he said after a few seconds "we can't do that" I said "we need a different approach instead of violence every time someone opposes as a threat" Recaro agreed.
"maybe make a peace treaty?" He suggested "like king Mitch did?" I scoffed, like king Mitch! I thought, he's no king. "Nobody liked that when Mitch did it" I said while Xylo nodded "Impu's right and I doubt anyone is going to agee to another one when they didn't like the old one" he explained. "Maybe they will if it's temporary?" Recaro said "a peace treaty is the simplest and easiest way to get the camp relatively safe and it's not like we need it forever, just for a few months" I thought about it, suppose it wasn't the worst plan? I thought, I mean what choice do we have? "I guess, but it'll be hard convincing everyone in camp to sign it" I sighed and rubbed my eyes just at the thought of how hard that would be and how long it could take "it's an idea" Zylo said "it's the only idea we have" Recaro pleaded "if we want to bring set here fast so we can check up on him, then this is the quickest way of getting the camp safe" it was obvious he wanted to get this holl ordeal over and done with, though I couldn't blame him. "We'd have to see how the treaty goes for a month or two, then bring Set here" I said, Xylo agreed "that's a good point, we should probably see if the campers actually follow it" Recaro nodded "So we test it out for a few months or so, then bring Set here" he said "pretty much" I say as I rubbed my eyes "I'll also probably do research on the mirror in the meantime" that was going to be fun, I thought to myself sarcasticly. "good idea, need any help with that?" Zylo asked "no I'll be fine" it was nice that he was asking but I doubt he was going to be much help, and anyway it wasn't going to take too long.
After a while of talking, Zylo and Recaro left. I was sitting in Bryan's library, going through his books for the millionth time checking to see if he had anything on the mirror. He probably didn't but it was worth checking. I had already gone through 34 books that were stacked around me. I was reading a book about mirrors but I don't think it's the one I need. "Hunny?" I heard a soft voice call out, I tilt my head to the entrance and see Bryan standing there "oh hi" I smile and he walks over and sits next to me, rapping one of his wings around me. "What' you doing? Haven't you already read all of these?" He leaned in and looked at the cover of the book in my hands "yeah I have I'm just checking to see if you have a book about something" I explained "what about?" He asked, I sighed "about the mirror holding Set, I forget what it's called" Bryan thought for a minute "well I only have one book on mirrors and your holding it" he said "and I don't think its about gods being trapped inside it" he smiled "sorry Hun" I closed the book "it's okay I didn't think you'd have it, I was just checking" Bryan yawned "you wanna go back to that big library in Egypt and check there?" He smiled "maybe, but you seem tired so maybe a different day?" He rubbed his eyes"I didn't mean now" he looked at the almost empty book shelf "you gunna continue reading or come to bed?" He asked "well there isn't any point and I've already read all of these so I'll come to bed"
Bryan smiled and stood up "okay good cuz I didn't want to wait up for you any longer, I'm tired" I stood up "you don't have to wait up for me, you can go to sleep before me" I smiled, he took my hand and began walking to our room "i know but i like waiting for you"
