chapter 4

Levi's P.O.V

"Mmm~"
Where am I? It's bright.

"Mr. Ackerman?"

"Mr. Ackerman? Are you feeling alright?"

I opened my eye's, letting them adjust to my surroundings. I saw my body covered in bandages and I felt something wrapped around my neck.

"I'm okay." My voice sounded raspy.

"Im glade to hear that." The light ginger haired women said.

"Where am I?"

"Your in the hospital. You were brought here by the ambulance."

"Is that so." I looked around and saw I was hooked up to a few machines.

"You were brought here around 11pm five nights ago. You were rushed to the emergency room due to your condition. You had a flat-line and we brought you back with defibrillators. You have a fractured nose, neck injury, two broken ribs, scratches, cuts, bruises, and signs of sexual assault." She looked at me with worry in her eye's.

"..."

"You had a few visitors everyday you were here. Your sister, your friend, and boyfriend."

"Eren."

"He came every day brought you flowers and sat beside you waiting for you to wake up."

Someone knocked on the door.

"It must be the detective."
Detective!?!
She walked to the door and allowed a tall man in.

"Good morning Levi. I see you finally woke up. Im here to ask you a few questions. My name is James and I will be working on your case."

"Case? What case?"

"Your case. Im on a tight schedule so lets began. Do you remembered what happened to youself that night?" He took a seat in the empty chair next to the bed.

"Yes." should I have said no?

"Can you tell me what happened that night?" He took out a notepad and pen.

"Yes..... Me and Eren had a party at our house."

"Who is Eren?"

"Eren is my boyfriend."

"Who was at the party?"

"Just some friends."

"What was the reason for the party?"

"It was for our anniversary I think."

"You think? Why aren't you sure?"

"Eren never told me the reason for the party."

"What happened during the party?"

"We chatted with people. Drunk a bit. I followed Eren around. Then Eren went to go talk to friends. I waited for him but he never came back so I went to go look for him."

"Go on."

"I look all around down stairs but couldn't find him. So I went up stairs. I looked for awhile, then I turned around and..."
The painful memories of that night replayed in my head. What do I say. Do I tell him the truth?

"And what Levi."
If I tell him the truth and if they get Farlan then Eren would get in trouble too.

"Levi, What happened? what caused you these injuries?"

"I... I turned around and missed a step and fell."

"You fell down the stairs?" Detective james raised an eyebrow.
