"and lets give a big Townsville welcome to not only Australia's youngest but best only at 20 please help me give a big round of applause to May O'Haron on her barrel horse Midnight" I feel the strength of Midnight under me as I wait in the ally, waiting, and waiting for the announcer to stop talking!!! finally he stops talking, over the last 2 years I have had the best success with the barrels I had so much I got to go over to America at the end of May last year I came back with 15 new belts for my collection and I returned at the end of August, my new besties name is Audrey, she is from Sydney, Australia she is tall with REALLY long brown hair that has blonde highlights that she somehow keeps blonde even when were in the middle of now where, we now travel together I direct in front the she has her ute behind me with her thoroughbred who her parents think they bought for no good reason.
I was ready to go out, I bolt out of the ally trying to get first the first barrel, the second I thought I was having a good time the crowd was yelling, the third as I am heading back for the ally I spot in the crowd NED!!!! I look at my time 13.2 could have done better.
I jump of Midnight and run to Audrey's gooseneck "Audrey, Audrey" I yell when I finally get there I start banging on the door "good rum, M" she tells me when she opens the door "he's here" she looks up suddenly "umm, that ex-boyfriend here" I nod I didn't now what to do, "alright can I get some revenge to the idiot" I hate him for what he did but that was a bit too far "no, I just what to se what happens" "if that's what you want. I'm right next door remember that" alright I had back up in case "thanks your the best" I tell her as I hug her "i know, now get out I have to get ready to compete" I give a small laugh then leave. Un tacking Midnight brought back so many memories like when me and Ned were washing him but we ended up getting soaked in water from a water fight, and the time we went swimming in the dam and I gave him the smaller piece of lemon slice, when he got mad I pushed him in the water. I love one thing about my trailer it is sound proof so no one can here you sing , I just had to sing,
I wanna be the only one for miles and miles,
except for maybe you and your simple smile,
oh, it sounds good to me, yes it sounds so good to me,
cowboy take me away, fly this girl as high as you can into the wild blue, closer to heven above and closer to you, closer to.......
"you sound as good as you did,May. Wore you left" I turn around to see Ned standing in the door way of my gooseneck "what do you want" I yell at him, I was mad at him he never called me or even text, I tried to call and text but it never went through "i came to tell you congratulations on the win" I look up into his big blue eyes, it felt like forever I was starring in to them. I just had to, but it would mean I still do, I run up to him and give him the biggest hug ever. Ned was no longer the dumb boy who worked at one of the cattle station in the area or the idiot who decided to ride a bull and ended up in a coma for a week. He was Ned the man who left that place to find his own place in life but some how he came back.
They always come back
;)

ahhhhhh I just put in the last chapter of my first book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hope ya liked it, I will think about bringing out another book about Midnight. I know it got less and less about the horse as the book went on soz about that
I made a few mistakes on the chapter my laptop has been playing up on me when Ned first talks to May after the Townville rodeo there her says "you sound as good as you did,May. Wore you left" it was meant to say "you sound as good as you did, May before you left" and the song that she sung in the trailer was Cowboy take me away by the Dixie chicks, good song.
Ummmmm, I don't quite now what to say now, again hope ya enjoyed
