Lexie knew she had managed to avoid telling Kim. She knew that as much as she wanted to open up to her mum, she couldn't. She couldn't tell her all that she had been through.
Lexie felt like telling her family would bring it all back to her. And she didn't want to do it. She couldn't do it. Not when she was trying to get happy again.
She knew that she and Ross had gotten a lot closer lately. And he was a welcomed distraction. Something good to come from being dragged to the village of doom as she called it.
It wasn't easy at all. And Lexie often felt alone and isolated. But Ross had really changed her life. He had made her feel like she was someone worthy.
She knew that no one would understand the bond between her and Ross. She felt like he was the only one who understood her. She knew she was beginning to fall for him. And she wasn't complaining.
All she knew was that things weren't easy at all. And she felt as though she needed to somehow figure it all out before it got too much for her.
Morning came and she walked down into the kitchen. Cassie was there. She smiled to her. "Hey. You okay?" She asked.
"I'm fine. Why does everyone keep asking me?"
Cassie rolled her eyes. "Maybe it's because we care dimwit. You pushing us away won't change anything. We love you. Yes, I haven't been there for you. But I'm sorry. Too much happened and I needed to get away. But I'm here now. And nothing you say or do will push me away. You've got me for life."
Lexie looked to her. She knew she had missed having her sister around. But she also knew she was scared in case she lost her again.
"Promise you're not going anywhere?" Lexie asked.
Cassie nodded and smiled. "I promise. I'm going nowhere. I have the salon done up here. So I have no reason."

Lexie walked through the village. She smiled as she saw Ross. He looked to her and smiled. "I'm offended. Didn't wake up to you being in my bed."Lexie smiled to him. "Well what can I say? I have to keep you in suspense for when I'm going to turn up," she told him.
Ross shrugged and smirked. "Well maybe you should be nicer to me. I do give you great orgasms," he said.
"That's true. I could see you tonight. I'll get my sister to cover for me. Seeing as she said she wants to make things right with us."
Ross nodded. "I'll be waiting. I'll be the naked one in my bed," he told her as he walked off.
Lexie smiled. Feeling thankful that she had him there with her. Knowing all she had been through.

Lexie was about to leave the house to meet Ross. She looked up as Kim walked in. "You're not going anywhere. Not until you've talked to me. So sit down and get talking."Lexie frowned. "You can't do that. You really can't. I'm seeing a friend."
"Tough. I want you to talk. And until you do talk, you're grounded," Kim told her.
Lexie looked to her mum and frowned. But would she be able to put off the conversation yet again?
