FAMILY BY FRIENDSHIP

Denis Pov:

I thought those nightmares would finally leave her alone it's been years since she had those dreams, Charlotte has only dreamed it three times and she got over it, I dreamt it every day but I could handle it, so I didn't bother to tell the girls. I have to help anyway I can, help Nancy to get over that incident six years ago.

I called her parents, Charlotte parents and mine too, and we did video call. Son are you sure of what you are saying, Nancy's father asked. Yes sir and I don't know what triggered it, I answered.

Son what of Charlotte how does she feel about it, Charlotte's mother asked.she is strong for Nancy but she is just faking it, she is also scared,I answered.

Son I want you to take care of those girls, they not only your close friends but they are family, please keep them from harm, my father added. I will not let you guys down I made a promise to keep them safe and am not going to break it, I said to them and I ended the call.

Nancy Pov:

Days passed and I felt better, the nightmares didn't come again and I was glad, I could see that Charlotte was worried and I calmed her down, Denis kept worrying none stop about the two of us and he even hired a bodyguard for in case, am sure he talked to our parents about what had happened.

Everything went back to normal after that night, I went to Louis show with joy in my face, once we are done with the show, Louis will take me out to dinner and of course Denis wasn't comfortable with the idea but just let me be.

Charlotte Pov:

This is scary, Denis made sure he was dead. Yes I did had few of the nightmares during the last years and it went away last year and I haven't had nightmares since then. This had stayed among our family, Gabriel and the three of us, and it most stay that way.

Nancy got so close to Louis that they can't do without talking to eachother in a day, my plan worked and I like where it was going. Of course Denis didn't like it but he had to agree anyways cause he loved seeing Nancy happy.

Things went smoothly during the few days, the show went well and we were on the sixth day of the show.

Louis Pov:

The past three days was just amazing ever since that night, we became close friends within a short period of time, we call eachother, chat and go out after the show, I made sure Clementine doesn't find Nancy trouble through out the show and wait for her to leave the area before taking Nancy out for dinner.

Today was the sixth day, that's one more day and my show will be over, and my father wouldn't threaten me anymore about being with Clementine.

Today's show was successful and As usual Clementine kept showing the world that we were in love. I couldn't wait for the show to end, I really want to be close to Nancy. The show finally ended and I ran to my dressing room wash my face and by the time I came out Clementine was waiting for me at the door.

Hey baby, want to go out to dinner, my treat, she said as she moved closer for a hug. I move back a little and walk past her with my hands in my pocket and walked out. Louis don't walk out on me or I will call your dad, she said walking after me. What, I yelled. I know there is someone else but she will never love you like I do, Louis baby don't do this to me I love you, she added.

But I don't, look we had good times but now it is over, I don't want you in my life don't you get it, I said. Oh all because of that woman, I don't know who she is but am sure she is not in my class and status, she said and I laughed. She is even way out of my league talk less of you, I said laughing and I walk out. I heard her walk away in angler.

I got to Nancy's dressing room and I saw Denis by the door, man this guy is scary, his looks, his body movement and who would believe that we are the same age. I envy him cause one, he is good looking, two, he looks scary, three, even men can fall for a man like him.

Hmm Louis right, sounds like a girls' name, he said as he walk towards me with his hands in his pocket, I couldn't be scared of a fallow man so I stand straight and hands in my pocket and I look up at him, yes he is a bit taller than me, but I still stand my ground. What's your name again, oh yeah Denis, sounds like farmers' name, I said and he laughed.

You are not in anywhere close to her, you and William will have to leave them alone cause you two don't deserve them, he said and indeed he was right. Yeah you are right but no one will treat them better than we can, I understand your protection on them but they are just your friends not your sister or your cousin they are just your friends so stop being sticky and free them it is better for you and them, I said looking straight in his eye.

He laughed out loud and he got closer, my bond with Nancy is way far than you think, she will always choose me Frist and listen to what I say, you are nobody to her, he said with his deep voice. Denis, Nancy called out. Yes bubbles, he answered and this time he used a calm sweet voice for her, so it's true what William said about him. What are you guys talking about, she asked. Oh Louis and I were just chatting about how he would love for me to see his restaurants and I may short it down if he hurts you, he said.

Oh stop that, he is just my friend, Nancy said. Ok we have to go now see you later, she added and Denis peak her on the cheek and walk out. Ok let's go, she said and grabbed my hand and we both walk to my car hand in hand.

Nancy, is Denis always like that towards you and Charlotte, I asked. Yeah all the time, she answered. But he is just your friends why be so protective, I asked. What no don't say that, look the three of us are the only child of our parents.

Look let me tell you something. My dad, his dad and Charlotte's dad have been friends since middle school. My mom, his mom and Charlotte's mom has been friends since childbirth. My grandmother is their god mother. My grandmother my father's mom was the one who made them friends from the beginning.

When our moms were born, they were born in the same church, Charlotte grandmother dead during childbirth, Denis grandmother was a drug addict ran mad after giving birth, and my grandmother was a prostitute so she left after childbirth and they were there for five years, so one day when my father's mother went to church for prayers, she saw our mothers and asked if she could take care of them and the holy father said yes.

My grandmother couldn't adopt them because the church had adopted them already, so she became their godmother and sponsored them through school, so when they were 18, my grandmother took them in and introduced them to my dad and his two friends.

My grandmother was already a single mom but a rich one at that, when her son got to middle school, he met Denis's father and Charlotte's father and they became friends.

By the time they were in college, she sent both boys and girls to go to the same college school and naturally they became friends and started from there. Our moms study business and our dads study law. At twenty six they got married to each other and give birth to one child each and they bond us with friendship and love.

I see Denis not only as my friend but my brother. We are not blood siblings but we are family, she answered. Oh now I get it, I said.
