Chapter 5

Wei Ying was awakened by the knocks on his door and also his puppy Joy who sprinted to the door and barked continuously. He overslept because of his night swimming with Lan Zhan. His body is not used in so much physical activity. He wore his slippers picked his puppy and cuddled with it. When he opened the door it was his nanny who was standing at the door. "Ying, it's time for breakfast everyone is waiting for you. Give me your puppy I will feed it first. You prepare quickly."

"Why did you wake me up? I'm still sleepy." Wei Ying complained.

"Why wouldn't I? Lan Zhan is waiting for you. You want to make him wait?"

"What Lan Zhan is waiting for me? You should tell me earlier. I'll prepare quickly." He turned around then walked back and called her nanny again, "Wait, after feeding Joy can you prepare the ingredients for my food for lunch first? It should be for two people. Thank you." He added and quickly got on to the bathroom to prepare himself.

Lan Zhan was awkwardly sitting at the dining table together with Wei Ying's parents. He wakes up early so that he can see him as early as possible but to his dismay, Wei Ying is still in his slumber. Wei Chyna is urging him to take his breakfast first while he is contemplating whether he start to eat out of respect for Wei Ying's Mom or wait for Wei Ying because he wants to eat with him.
"Yes, ma'am. Thank you." He said gratefully. Next, he got the idea to stall for a time so he talked to Wei Jinmi and asked him. "Sir, can I ask you if I can send Wei Ying and pick him up at school?" Lan Zhan said nervously. He was very confident with everyone he met even his parents but this man, he was feeling nervous because of Wei Ying he was afraid that his father might not allow him to.

"You can just call me uncle and Chyna aunt.  If it's ok with you. I think It's fine with us. You're already giving us a favor so why not? Right Chyn?"

"Yeah, right it's good that Wei Ying has a newfound friend." Wei Chyna agreed, "And a gorgeous driver." She added and they laughed.

Lan Zhan felt at ease somehow when they agreed. When he hears someone approaching he lightens up and is excited to see the young man but when the person sits in front of him to his disappointment it's none other than Wei Wuxian. They have the same look and voice but at a glance, he can tell who he is.

"Good morning Mom and Dad." Both of his parents greeted him also and proceeded with their meal. "Oh, hey Lan Zhan good morning." Wei Wuxian greeted smiling at him. Then suddenly he feels excited. Thinking about something. "Why aren't you eating? Come on take a bite. We're going to University soon after our breakfast." Wei Wuxian urges him while he impersonates Wei Ying's mannerisms. "After our class, I will take you out to have lunch at my favorite restaurant next when the afternoon class is finished, let's go shopping." He added. "Lan Zhan, why aren't you responding to me? I'm the only one talking here." He grumbled while Lan Zhan looked at him emotionlessly.
Meanwhile, Lan Zhan can't stand his blabbering so he asks, "Where's Ying?"
    
   Despite Lan Zhan's question, Wei Wuxian didn't stop. "Why still asking when I'm in front of you? I am Ying. You don't believe me?"

Lan Zhan just looks at him weirdly.
Wei Wuxian can't believe he thought he could trick Lan Zhan by pretending as Wei Ying so he asks again. "You don't believe me?"

"Stop fooling around. You cannot fool Lan Zhan." Wei Ying interrupted him. They didn't notice him as he entered the dining room. He sits beside Lan Zhan and smiles at him. He's glad that Lan Zhan can differentiate him from his identical twin.

Lan Zhan automatically gives Wei Ying food on his plate after he settles down on his chair. Both parents notice Lan Zhan's gestures and Wei Ying doesn't even greet them, Wei Jinmi and Wei Chyna look at each other meaningfully.

Despite the presence of the parents and siblings, the two are in their own world. Wei Ying eats quickly and nudges Lan Zhan also. Wei Wuxian feels envious of Lan Zhan's caring towards Wei  Ying. He hopes to be in Wei Ying's position or meet someone like Lan Zhan.
