.*Quinneth was walking through the gardens of Camelot when she heard a hoarse "Tsk" from behind. she turns to look and see Sir Lancelot.*

*Looking at Quinn with his red eyes, the knight raised a brow. It was unusual to see the young heir walking alone and without a knight. Lancelot walked over to the heir and said, with a calm but firm voice.*"My apologies for being impolite, but what are you doing alone without a knight?"

"I can protect myself, I'm not helpless." *she says with narrowed eyes and sits on a bench*

*Lancelot looked at Quinn, an expression of disbelief on his face.*"And what is going to defend you? The flowers or butterflies?"*The knight inquired, gesturing to the colorful garden.*

"You think I can't fight?" *she stands up and walks around*

*Lancelot let out a chuckle, amused.*"Ah, you can fight, but let me ask, do you consider yourself strong enough to defeat an assassin, a wizard, or even a powerful villain?"*The knight said, crossing his arms and looking at Quinn with a challenging gaze.*

"You're always so serious." *she nuzzles him*

*The knight's face softened a little at the endearing gesture, though he still appeared serious.*"I have to be, after all, it is my duty to ensure yours and the king's safety." *Lancelot said.* "And speaking of the king, he wants to see both of us in the throne room."

*Quinn groans and raises an eyebrow* "What does he want now?"

*Raising a brow, the knight's expression became a little serious again.*"And how should I know?" Lancelot said in a calm monotone. "He said it was a matter of great importance."*The knight then turned and began walking to the throne room, his cape fluttering behind him and his tail swishing.*

*The royal throne room was vast, with high-arching windows, tall, thick columns, and a ceiling that seemed like the very sky itself. At the back of the room, on a dais, was the throne of the king. Seated on that throne was King Arthur.**The king was tall and lean with long blond hair that gleamed in the sunlight that streamed through the great windows. Upon his head sat a golden crown. His chin stubble betrayed that he had not shaved in some time.*

*As Sir Lancelot and Quinn approached, they immediately noticed that the king did not seem to be in a good mood. He was frowning, and his face held an expression of irritation.**As they drew nearer, Lancelot said in a formal voice,* "We are here, Your Majesty."*The king looked at the two, his gaze lingering on the knight, before speaking, his voice tinged with irritation.*

*Quinn crosses her arms knowing well her father is upset*

*King Arthur nodded then said in a calm but commanding tone,*"I have summoned you both here to discuss an important matter." *Taking that as an invitation to speak, Lancelot inquired with a questioning look,* "We're listening, Your Majesty."
