It was midnight and instead of sleeping I was laying in bed watching TikTok.
My whole For You Page has been filled with edits of Kate and videos from the Las Vegas Aces training.
I watched every single one of them, beginning to end about 5 times.
Then I got to the sad edits showing clips of me and Kate talking about how we're both going on with our lives in separate directions and that's when the tears started to flow.
Kate has been so busy recently that she barely could answer me. And I honestly stopped texting her a lot since I knew she was very focused on basketball. Even though she got drafted, she could still get cut from the team before the final roster comes out.
I wanted what was best for Kate so I decided to just leave her be and not cause any stress to her since I already knew she was under a lot of pressure.
I shifted uncomfortably under the covers without Kate to lay my head on.
I really did miss Kate, I didn't realize how much this change would affect me.
