꒰⚘݄꒱₊⋆ ☀︎ _______A/N: if this chapter is published that probably means I started to continue writing on this fanfic again, it has been a while since I even opened Wattpad, and-- thank you all for your support.
recap: "Sunshine, if you're going anywhere in this dark ass factory. then I'm coming with you and you cannot stop me." he reasoned with you. which made you smile in return softly. "I wasn't thinking about stopping you."

it was evident Angel was still tired, the little resting break I forced them to take didn't exactly work well with less than 8 hours of rest, and the fact they were still working and tiring themselves on my behalf for more than half of those hours at the least.
any toy with working eyes could see the way they stumbled over themselves, their slow reaction times, the way they'd stare off into the distance for long periods of time- it was hard to watch. It saddened me to see someone so brave and strong become this...tired and uncoordinated person.
you could see how tired they were grabbing the 'last key' from the placeholder- how their arms dropped to their side almost immediately after grabbing the very light object, their eyes growing dark bags with every passing day they wouldn't sleep. No matter how much I'd beg or plead- they were more stubborn than a nail in the coffin.
I just accepted the fact they were not going to listen to me- at least not until something drains them enough to shut them down finally or they complete whatever they hope to achieve in this very moment. It was a losing game I knew this, but I couldn't help but secretly pray to whatever HELPFUL- god there was out there to make this human listen to me.
at least that's how it was this entire time I was following them-, they never asked for it but I silently deemed myself as the 'Angel caretaker'. I doubt they'd ever ask for help from me- it's evident in the time I knew them they were never one to ask for help. always wanting to do things themselves, claiming they never needed help, all the things you could possibly think about I heard from them.
surprisingly it didn't take long for them to figure out what to do with the key, finding a power box and opening it...always smart they were, that's what I admired so much about them.
we quickly made our way back to the statue's underground area, plugging in the last cord which Ollie gave us this giant battery in return.
"Ok, that should be enough power!" the child's voice began chiming through the phone. I never did trust that thing. It's been over a decade since this place experienced the hour of joy- there's no way this thing could be a child... but I trust in angel's better judgment. I can hope that their feelings of trusting the phone child is a good choice to make.
"Now take the huge battery to the gas production zone so we can get out of here!"
...we? What does the child mean by we?

"It's the door by the cable car you arrived on! good luck." that is when Ollie hung up the phone, had I ever mentioned how fucking annoying that kid's voice can be?
I know it doesn't matter how annoying someone's voice is if they're helping me but holy shit sometimes I can't wait for him to shut up and I can tell dogday is hesitant when Ollie is on the phone- he never voiced his opinions but he definitely shows them.
His face makes slight changes- a normal person wouldn't be able to see them with his stitched-on smile, but his mouth would fall by maybe an inch or 2 when he was upset when he was genuinely smiling you could see the corners move up slightly, other time's you could see his expression in his eyes. The way his pupils would diolate, enlarge themselves like a cat- which was odd with him being a dog. when it wasn't his pupils or mouth giving off his expression it was the way his eyes softened or widened, the way his eyebrows creased in worry, anger, confusion... once you understood him he is very readable.
