in the quiet of the desert night, conbi stood amidst the sand dunes, remnants of ice still clinging to his form from his time in the tundra. the moon cast a pale glow over the landscape, highlighting the stark contrast between the frozen remnants on conbi and the warm desert around him.

as conbi stood there, lost in thought and enjoying the calm of the night, a figure approached. it was gabe, a short, angry man with a scowl etched permanently on his face. he eyed the ice on conbi with a greedy gleam in his eyes.

"what's this?" gabe barked, stomping closer. "ice in the desert? that's a rare find. hand it over!"

conbi blinked, not understanding why gabe was so worked up over some melted ice. "um, okay," conbi replied, not particularly attached to the ice chunks. he brushed them off gently, letting them fall to the sandy ground.gabe eagerly scooped up the ice, muttering about how valuable it would be. but as he turned to leave, he tripped over a small dune, landing face-first in the sand.

conbi couldn't help but chuckle softly at the sight. gabe, now covered in sand and still clutching the melted ice, glared back at conbi with even more fury. "laugh all you want, alien. you haven't seen the last of me!"with that, gabe stormed off into the night, leaving conbi to continue his peaceful evening under the starry desert sky.

as gabe stormed off, his anger simmered but didn't quite fade. he returned unexpectedly, his face twisted in a sneer as he flipped conbi off. "you think you're so high and mighty with your weird ice and quiet demeanor," he spat, kicking at the sand.

conbi, still puzzled by gabe's outburst, remained silent, watching with a mix of confusion and mild amusement."and let me tell you about my ex-husband castiel," gabe continued, his voice dripping with venom. "a good-for-nothing, lazy bum who couldn't hold down a job if his life depended on it!"

conbi tilted his head slightly, wondering why gabe felt the need to share such personal grievances with a stranger in the desert."and don't even get me started on my kids," gabe ranted, his anger escalating again. "hope, faith, and grace? more like trouble, annoyance, and disappointment!"

conbi's eyebrows furrowed slightly, finding gabe's rant both perplexing and sad. he decided to stay quiet, not wanting to escalate the situation further.but gabe wasn't done yet. he went on, venting about his job, his neighbors, and just about everything else that seemed to bother him. his words filled the night air with bitterness and resentment.finally, after what felt like an eternity, gabe huffed and turned away, muttering curses under his breath as he stomped off into the darkness once again. conbi remained where he was, pondering the strange encounter under the serene desert sky.
