We met Cole in a parking lot at the bottom of a hiking trail. There are a bunch of different trails around here. One goes to a waterfall, another goes to a rock bridge, I'm not even sure what the others go to. I jump out of the car as soon as Archie puts it in park. I walk up to Cole apologizing about being thirty minutes late. The whole time he is staring at Archie who is leaned up against the car with his arms folder over his chest and ankles crossed like he is the most relaxed he's ever been.

"Princess it's okay. I'm sure he had some doing in why you're late but it's fine we will still have a great time."

"Really I am so sorry, time just slipped away from us."

"Yeah man, time just got away from us because we were having so much fun. I can't help it that I can plan a date that time doesn't seem like it matters."

I shoot Archie a glare. "Come on Cole, ignore him. You have all my attention now, let's begin our date." He grabs a picnic basket that was sitting on the roof of the car I'm assuming is his, and we begin our hike. It is so beautiful. The green of the tress and grass, the moss covering everything in its way, the dirt trail clear as could be, the sound of birds chipping all around us, the rustle of animals scurrying away because they hear and or see us approaching. I got so lost in taking in my surroundings and taking deep full breaths of that beautiful earthy scent that I didn't hear Cole when he asked me to tell him more about myself. I got to know his likes and dislike like I have the other two, and I told him mine.

When we make it to the waterfall, I stopped dead in my tracks to take in the sight. It was massive, magical. There are rock cliffs all around us like they circling us, caging us in, with the most beautiful waterfall roaring over the cliffs. The waterfall flows down into what looks like a lake. There is an area over on the left side of the lake that is flat and covered in the greenest grass I've ever seen. We are the only ones here and when I turn to look at the trail behind us I see two varying large men coming.

"Cole they are going see your mask and know who you are."

"Princess, they work for me, us. I hired them for today to make sure we are the only ones here, so we aren't interrupted by anyone. There are more men just like these who are on other trails and parking lot to make sure everything goes as planned."

"You did all this just so have an uninterrupted date, with me?"

"Yes princess, anything for you. You deserve to be shown how important you are."

My heart swells in my chest as I help Cole lay out the blanket onto the ground. We sit and he starts getting out the snacks, strawberries, grapes, apples, and a whole cheese board. I freaking love cheese boards and the fruits he brought. He offers me a grape and I lean forward taking it from his fingers with my mouth. He continues to feed me like this the entire time we are eating and talking.

"So what kind of movies do you like?"

"I like just about anything princess, other than the old movies like westerns and stuff. Not really into that. What about you?"

"Same I will watch about anything, even the old stuff." I lean in and bump his arm playfully while giggling like a school girl. "Oh do you like horror movies? There is this new one that just came out called, 'Catch me if you can' i have been dying to see it but I really didn't have time before I hired Josh. Maybe now I could go watch it."

"I've heard about it, I think I've seen a trailer about it too but not sure about that. It does look like it will be good though."

Our conversation continues to go so smoothly and easily. I stare out at the water, I wish it was warmer weather so I could swim in it. I look back over at Cole, he's laying down kind of on his side, propped up on his elbow. Even though I can't see his face, I know he's just ass gorgeous as the rest of his body. He just has that boy next door vibe. You know the kind of guy that you grow up next door neighbors too, your best friends all thought out your life, that you secretly love all along? Yeah that's the kind of vibe Cole gives off.
