It's been a few days since the five were awakened from their slumber. It took some time for them to get used to the modern era, especially the clothing along with modern technology.
Gojo of course was trolling them but Yelena was patient with them and they were slowly but surely getting it.
They were currently living with Yelena, and currently she was watching Ryoko watching the tv while trying to make omurice step by step. It turns out Ryoko always loves cooking so she wanted to make something for Yelena as an appreciation.
"I'm almost done, Yelena." Ryoko says to her with a smile.
"I can tell by the smell. You're getting the hang of it." Yelena remarks, while making her way to her fridge to get a bottle of water. She had just come back from her personal workout room, only wearing a sports bra and some sweatpants and white sneakers.
Technology is something that confuses the five the longest. The fact it's something that isn't run by magic or anything but by electricity is something that evades them for a while. But they eventually got it after like two days or so.
Though one thing Yelena could never forget is the time she was making tea, and the tea kettle whistled loudly enough that it startled the ever-so stoic Zeldris thinking it's something else.
It must've rattled his inhumane senses a lot. And perhaps the fact the sound resembles whatever kind of noises he had been accustomed to during the time of the Holy War, being very on edge still thinking there could be danger in every corner.
Technically, curses are the supernatural thing to worry about now. Other than the curses, it's just humans being typical of committing crimes and such, but still.
Yelena had to reassure him that it's nothing to worry about, all the while ignoring the fact Satoru was laughing as he managed to capture the moment on his phone.
But yes, currently, they are managing to adjust to modern advancement so far perfectly well.
Ryoko places the egg onto the fried rice and adds some sauce before giving it to Yelena to try before going back to cook some more.
"Can I help?" Meliodas asks Ryoko and immediately the other four gain a blue tint on their faces.
"No!" The four answered in unison confusing Yelena and Gojo.
"I'm not going to let you kill us, Meliodas." Ryoko says with a twitching eyebrow.
"Oh come on, I've been learning!" he whines.
"Learning, my ass. You never get better and only get worse. The last thing we want is you to poison them!" Gelda remarks angrily.
"He's that bad at cooking?" the white-haired sorcerer questions.
"Very. I wouldn't even wish for fucking Sukuna to eat it." Zeldris remarks with an uncomfortable look on his face.
"Tried his cooking once never again, I didn't want to eat food for a month. It was really awful." Elizabeth replied with anime tears.
"I rather drink poison than eat Meliodas's food." Ryoko deadpanned.
"No need to be so mean..!" Meliodas says with a pout.
"Harsh reality, idiot." his brother deadpans just as Yelena went ahead to take a spoonful of the omurice Ryoko prepared for her. Her eyes then shimmers with joy upon the flavorful profiles she is getting.
"Oh wow, this is good." Yelena smiles, making Ryoko blush at that.
"Thank you." Ryoko remarks shyly, happy to hear that Yelena loves it.
