Awaken

Again, I wake up in the woods with no memories of what happened. Why does this keep happening? I end up everyday like this ever since I turned 10. It has been almost six years since it started. As I walk back to my house I realize I have no idea where I am. It keeps getting worse every time. It is around six o'clock. I don't know how I know what time it is. Things are getting weird. I want to find out what is wrong but, I don't know what to do. I already went to the doctor but, they don't know any thing either. I hope that there is a way to stop this. "Hey, girl are you lost?" A boy with pale eyes asked. I don't know why but, I feel like I know him. All of a sudden I start to feel dizzy and pass out.

I wake up to the pale eyed boy shaking me. "Are you alright?" The boy asked. He keeps shaking me. When I open my eyes everything looks different. I stand up but, I am shorter then normal. I look down and notice I don't have hands I see little white balls of fur. He pets me on the head and asks, "How do you feel, have you ever changed before?" What was he talking about? Why is he petting me, why do I feel small? Also why am I a dog? "What do you mean, have I changed before?" I bark at him.

He looks at me and answers, "You are confused, why? I don't understand why you don't understand. To make the question more simpler, Have you been a wolf before?" I sit there in fear. I realized that the reason why I find my self out here in the woods every morning, is because I change. "Wait, what I don't get is why you know about this." When I said that he sat down and right before my eyes and changed. As I watch his body transform into a wolf, I looked into his pale eyes and saw that they stayed the same. "Do you understand now?" He asked in a hopeful tone as he rubs up against me. I looked at him and nodded. He looks back and then shifts back to his human state. "how do you change?" I ask him.

When I was back to normal he showed me my way home and told me his name. His name was Lioan. I walk in the door and automatically, "My hevens, child what happened? Where have you been." An old lady stares at me. "Granny, I am fine. It happened again, I don't know what to do." Granny looks at me and starts to cry. "Baby, I am so sorry." I stare at her in confusion, when I hear a knock on the door and police come barging in. "Granny what's happening?" They reach out to grab me but, I jump back. "Darling they said they can help you." Again one tries to grab me again but, I run right past him and out the door.

"LIOAN! Where are you? Help me! They are trying to take me!" I felt like I was running forever When I ran past a tree and Lioan reaches over and pulls me and covers my mouth. Seconds later three men come running past us. When they were out of view Lioan uncovers his hand from my mouth and tells me to follow him. I choose to follow Lioan through the woods without hesitation. I trust him with my life even though I just met him. Have I fallen for this pale eyed boy? As I walk behind him he starts to hum, the song "Wild". I stay quiet and listen because it is one of my favorite songs, until he stops and says, "I think we're lost." Lioan turns around with a funny face, "Just joking." I puff out my face and look mad I did not have to say anything he realized I was not to happy. He smiles, but turns around a doesn't stop walking.

The sun has already gone down quite a bit and I am starting to get very sleepy. When Lioan calls to a girl, "Hey, Lill where are you!?" A second later a girl who looks exactly like Lioan jumps down from a tree and lands right on top of him. "Right here, Lioan." The girl said and giggles. "Oh my god, is this her? Lioan, Is it, Is it? Guys she's here!" Seconds later three more girls come out from behind a bush followed by a beautiful lady holding a baby boy. The little kids crowd all around me pulling on my dress to bring me somewhere. "Sissy, welcome home. We missed you, Rebecca." The youngest girl says while pulling on my skirt. "How do you know my name? Wait, what do you mean welcome home?" She stares at me for a moment and turns to a lady who is holding a baby boy. "Rebecca, Honey I am so sorry we had to give you away. We loved you but, it was just to dangerous." I look into the lady's eyes and still have no idea of who she is. "I have no idea what you mean. Who are you guys? I don't understand." The lady starts to cry and sets the baby into Lioan's arms, walks over to me, "Sweetie, I am right here Rebecca. I am your mother. We are your tribe and we have been waiting for you to come home for many years now." I stand there in shock from all that information, when my vision started to blur and I pass out.
